Aside from at the very beginning, I've sympathised with IG for most of this saga. I don't care if he did cheat or not because I think AE was betraying and abusing him in much worse ways with her behaviour long before he met BW. But if he doesn't take serious steps ASAP to protect those kids I'll lose a lot of respect and empathy for him. I don't know if he can go for joint custody of the dog in California, but I'm worried about poor Emma being left alone with AE as much as I am worried about the kids.

He needs to go for full custody. The eldest child looks haunted and has done for a long time. She may have her own issues but seeing your mum unravel, your dad with a new woman, how is she supposed to cope. Out of all of them Ella is the one that causes me the most concern.

In and amongst no doubt there were a few “glamour” shots too. Just like when she “leaned in” on his FaceTime with the youngest, and he immediately went out of range and complained to the lawyers. If he went to swim in the pool with the kids whilst she was out you can bet your life she would dive into the pool next to him. He is not risking any face to face with her. She is like Medusa to him - he can’t risk looking at her.

One minute she doesn’t want him back, but nurse her with a bottle of Chardonnay and she’s exploding at 4 AM about him being HER husband, HER “twin soul,” HER best friend.

Does she want him back? Because glaciers will crack through the dry soil of HELL before he’ll ever even consider going back.

Does she just want to punish them now?

Does she think there’s a life that they can return to?

Is she trying to threaten him back into her arms? This sounds very, very domestic abuse-y. Like I wonder what he’s telling his therapist about their years together. It was probably utter madness.

And the sickest thing is that this has gotten so out-of-hand that he’s probably regretting all of it—not just the cheating (if it was cheating, some still argue it’s unclear), but him even falling out of love with her. He might be feeling like he caused a shitstorm for JUST NOT LOVING HER. Can you imagine that??? It’s heartbreakingly unfair.

I’m not convinced it’s a troll - if my cousin was being harassed and tormented like Bianca is, there is nothing that would stop me standing up for her. Just because Bianca can’t be seen to be responding doesn’t mean her family can’t.

That's not standing up for someone though, that's taunting them. If any of this is true, they're attacking Alice using third-hand information about something private in her marriage- and worse, mocking them about suicide/suicidal thoughts. That isn't right, however badly Alice is behaving, or however much they suspect she used empty threats of self-harm to control IG. They need to wind their neck in.
