Inthefrow #21 She went to NFW, but none of her clothes were new!

Rant incoming…..
She did on average 1 show or presentation a day with a complete day off and time at a spa in the middle, yet moans it was too much .
Most of us work 8 hours a day, have to drive there and back, eat cold lunch out of tupperware rather than sat down in a fancy restaurant, have to wash, dry and style our hair ourselves and do our make-up, drop the kids off en route, get all their crap ready and do their hair . When we get home, there’s all the housework then we still manage to socialise some nights, going out dressed up. Vic does none of this apart from the going out dressed up bit (to a show) which is a fraction of what we do. I upload a photo every time I go out, of my outfit, of the food, selfies with my friends etc which is more than she does and it’s the whole point of her online existance. She has some front coming online moaning about her life, she’s barely able to do what we do for fun, as a job. Imagine getting paid to live her lifestyle then moaning to the working class about it. I manage to upload more content than she does (I also edit them) as well as work full time and run a household (without a cleaner or a PA). She’s absolutely lost touch with reality. All this during a vlog where her husband asks “which car would you like today” and she replies “ooohh I love this question, I’ll take the Porche babe”. I’m pretty sure her demographic of viewers don’t have daily decisions like that to ponder over .

Does anyone know if she’s ever had an actual job? Like Tamara at a pharmacy or Lydia in a clothes shop. Did Victoria ever have a job or just go straight from Uni to influencing? That would explain a lot.

I think it's too much for her because she feels like she's spending money and effort and time and not getting to be better than some of the other "it" influencers. She not getting ahead, and she can see it all around her. She doesn't compare herself to us hoi polloi; she compares herself to the other people in her industry who are at FW. She can see they are getting to be where they want, and she is so thin-skinned, vain and proud, that she can't take real joy in what she has accomplished.

(I liken it to how if you go to yoga or pilates classes, and you do well, but you can't do all the pretzel-strength stuff some of the other people do, you don't say, "Wow! I'm so much better at that than I was! And better than all the people who didn't even go!" You say, "I've been going so long and I'm still rubbish at yoga!" Well, that's what I do. LOL.)

Also, I'm listening to her witch EVEN MORE about the hotel. She's ruining all her vlogs with these complaints. She's showing full narc rage now. And if you drank every time she said "Presidential Suite" you'd be black-out drunk 9:24 minutes in. I think the hotel is standing in for how angry she is at everyone else for her not being FROW at all the shows like the other influencers.

Goes to shows but barely can explain what she liked, what the overall theme, or how to properly explain details of clothes.
It’s great that she has a close friends as her team, but the industry is a networking game, unless your agency is getting you in the door, you need to work.
If her methods aren’t working to get to the shows or social heights she wants then change it.
Well Fashion month is over and we are nearly to end of the year where every influencer and her mother will be pushing seasonal beauty gifts and endless PR parties.

But yeah, I agree she needs proper management. All the talent agencies have influencer arms now and, honestly, it's less about them helping her get into the inner circles again and more for an outlet to vent instead of to her followers. It's funny because so few of the Gleambots she came up with went on their own. They all went to other agencies that were more "mature" or could help them grow past their teeny bopper personas.

Also, she dilutes her brand with all the skincare, makeup and perfume she shills. Many in direct competition with each other. Maybe it feels like so much shilling because she works with the same brands, but they just keep launching new stuff? And then she never uses it again like those hideous Carolina Herrera baubles.

Well she has the Holland cooper Bicester launch champagne brunch next weds!!. Bicester town is not particularly nice, the event is in Bicester outlet mall at the vip personal shopping lounge . It’s not a glamorous location . They could have flown them to gleneagles Scotland or five seasons Hampshire or chewton glen … or held an event at the Lanesborough hotel London … so many options other than Bicester .

Sounds like Jade Holland cooper can’t be arsed travel far from home for frow. Jade went to Paris fashion week to pose about , no benefit to Holland cooper in that but she made the effort to go and be seen there (how pathetic!) but can’t be arsed for frow

No, I think this was after. She had already been there at this point so she hosted the EoE event there.

Haven't watched the vlog but the first episode of the Beckham documentary has done more for my feeling towards VB than anything Vic has ever posted and that's not even about Victoria or fashion.

Alex is very good. He should get a job somewhere, where his filming and editing skills would be better used.

I work on the same field as Alex, and is frustrating to me to see the way he works. He spent hours and sometimes days editing a photo that doesn't need much editing. He works like 2012. But in 2023 everything has changed. People like to consume fast content. Real time. Many angles. Behind the scenes. The more material the better.

If you see Caro Daur IG you can compare the kind of work. Her material is a combination of raw material, edited photos, short videos. So much material on a single event / brand. That's the way Influencers do better now.

Victoria's IG is so old fashioned. Is all super-edited material. More similiar to Josie Fear's and Lydia Millen's Instagram. But those girls are smart and hire a photographer every now and then. Victoria pays her husband full time for a single photo to edit.

Yes, Alex is good on editing. He should take his photoshop talent to a magazine. But the guy is very lazy. He won't be able to mantain a 9-5 job. He won't quit the easy and good money he is getting from his wife. I don't even seen him being freelance. He is the kind of guy that waits the jobs comes to him, Victoria brings him the contracts. So, no. The guy won't go anywhere unless Victoria has the bal&s to fire him. And she won't do that to poor baby.

Victoria's team sucks! She hired her husband (a talented guy, lazy af); her husband's friend to help her husband to hold the camera; and her friend who lives in America.

Caro and Tamara have a great agency. It might be expensive for them but their job is impecable and the result pays off. They are super organized. They can promote different brands in such a professional way and short time. Their time management is on point. The good thing on having an agency is that they keep an influencer accountable.

Victoria is all Complaints, Complaints, SkyTV, Complaints, The guy who does her hair, SkyTV, Complaints, The guy who does her hair, ... on repeat.

No need to pay, they're all available for free on the Companies House website. Very few staff listed from what I remember. She's making a pretty penny though.
