Haven’t watched the vlog but wonder if they are planning to move out of MK because now she’s fallen out with Lydia they don’t have friends round there anymore?
In short, if work doesn’t pull then into London so much, would like to move to Cotswolds ... or possibly abroad although they don’t know where but did mention Amsterdam or Italy.

Also considering buying a place in Cotswolds to rent out a la Josie and Charlie. Apparently Josie and Vic discussed it during a dog walk, with Josie already ploughing ahead with her purchase.

So she has to work the whole day, he gets to roam around and play with the dog, and then SHE has to drive HIM back home?!? No! Go and get a bleeping driving license, you lazy sod. I don't believe that it's just because he never needed one; because that's a terrible excuse now that they live in the country.

New home in the cotswolds. Biggest eye roll. These influencers are just influencing each other. They don't have an original bone in their bodies

Vic is just here to try and sell us things and every. single. thing she ever does is performative. IMO, we should not be looking towards fashion "influencers" (or beauty, home, etc) to make a statement on such important issues unless they are genuinely passionate and supportive of them. Yes, the amplification of the social media conversation would be nice, but there are enough people talking about these things online that Vic's voice won't be missed.

The problem is that we've given these platforms to people who genuinely stand for nothing of substance, just because they take pretty pictures and once upon a time were relatable. Vic is the walking equivalent of a blank billboard with space available to the highest bidder. It would be nice to see a natural evolution to the influencer space that benefits people with depth AND style.

Ugh they are making the delicious elle balls. I don't get everyone fawning over her. Also didn't Carrie make those for Lydia a few years ago?

Amsterdam or Italy? Has she remembered Brexit? Although I don't recall her taking a position on it publicly either.

I will tell y’all what I think. I think she doesn’t give a flying duck about cotswolds /it’s history/ living there. She wants to BNB a cotswolds home *allegedly* because, she knows it’s hot right now.. she wanted to mention specially that she and Josie spoke about this in person during her walks … 😖😖😖
BUT, this whole idea/baseless future plan looked like a clickbait title to just attract audience to watch this video which had the Holland cooper collab shooting video clips. I think she doesn’t give a duck about buying another home and is definitely not serious. She is making a fool of her audience so that we all would click on that title and she could show to jade cooper that loooookkkk my launch video got 3x views .

Just fast forwarded through the vlog and I find her so infuriating! She complains about the weather for their dog walk when she’s chosen to wear THE most impractical outfit for it. Why are you wearing a blazer to walk the dog when you know it’s going to rain. Throw on a waterproof over your gym wear, stick your hood up and stay out. I wonder what the locals think of her - if I walked my dog like that I’d get some right strange looks!

Made me laugh when Alex said he was tired. She had done all the driving and posing etc all day he just took some pics. :giggle:

I didn't watch the vlog but in fairness to Alex, it sounded like he was trying to open up about battling depression recently. Don't get me wrong, I think he has it quite easy but when dealing with depression -- an outing like that very well could exhaust you.

If he hasn't got any routine this would make it harder to deal with depression, if he is just working for her on videos etc and being at home all day this can make depression worse. I've had clinical depression before, it is hard, you can't just pull yourself out. I ended up having to slowly recover and a part time job in primark helped. Maybe he needs to work on his work/life balance

I don't know, I started the vlog and thought have they not seen trees before?

Can someone from England explain to me why all of a sudden the Cotswolds are like influencer catnip? Like, I get it. One of many gorgeous parts of England and relatively close to London so you can leave the hustle and bustle of a busy city and be “in the country” in a short period of time. But if Vic, Josie, Lidl et al are already living outside London “in the country” (lol Northamps) then why would they want to buy more property in the country? Make it make sense please. Annnnd, is it really necessary to clickbait musings with your husband about buying more property in a pandemic?

I just bought a house and like 3 people know about it because I feel weird announcing it when friends of mine have lost their jobs and/or are still dealing with crippling college debt...and because my parents helped me. And I really only told people I live near so they offer to help me move 😂

There was something in one of the Sunday papers a week or two ago - if you buy right, you can easily made 50-100k per year from a single rental cottage in the Cotswolds.

I'm from the States and what I've gathered from watching Escape to the Country is that there are a lot of areas of outstanding natural beauty in the UK so I don't get the Cotswolds thing either? The Dales look pretty nice to me that's where I'd want to go if I ever make it to the UK.

I don’t know why but I just have a feeling their marriage is in trouble. Something about the way she’s acting lately, I can’t put my finger on it! She almost seems like she’s trying to pretend she’s happy and fine and ‘sexy’ which is so typical of people who are splitting from their partners

Ok, y’all.

- She booked in with a Vogue recommended facialist, but it was a kindly gifted PR treatment (but she can’t wait to be a future client).
- She talks about how great the facial was, but uses a very skin smoothing filter on the photo.

#makeitmakesense thank yew ✨

Ok Vic. We get it. You match society’s expectations of beauty, stretch marks and all 🙄

A lot of celebs live in the Cotswolds so I imagine that's why all the influencers are flocking in 🙄
