I noticed in the beach huts most had deckchairs hanging on the inside of the chalet doors - but this was never mentioned or discussed. I found it quite odd. And no mention how to store the tables, chairs, table settings and sunshades all laid out outside. Some of them it would've been impossible. Funnily enough apart from the guy who got eliminated.Id be sneezing my head off with the dust!
I think the same of the beach huts this year too. I'm sure in previous series they had to consider storage of things like swimming equipment, floats and stuff. This year, apart from the underfloor one that wasn't really talked about either.
It's the practical elements that make a difference between decorating and design and they seem to be less important in this series so far.
Alan ruins it for me. Those ridiculous skits he does at the start are pathetic. We could quite easily get rid of Alan. He serves no purpose. To be honest, Michelle could easily be replaced too. She's so contradictory and will change her mind if the guest judge has a differing opinion to hers.Love this programme and so glad it’s back! I love Alan on it too. He just makes it for me!
He is listed as director of Kitschen Sync on the company check website. No Lisa is mentionedThis is some weak tea but I was talking to my friend who's a bookkeeper earlier today and apparently Craig never had or owned a shop in Clapham. He worked for a lovely woman called Lisa and was sacked after running up thousands of pounds worth of debts...apparently Lisa is still working as an interior designer to try and pay it off.
My friend is going to get some more information tomorrow.
I've been to Port Merion, it's well worth a visit. We went mid week, and it wasn't ridiculously busy.I missed the beginning (the dog was outside vomiting and required an audience) and John's overall idea, but I absolutely love Rita's so far. Real cosy National Trust cottage vibes - which I do love.
Has anybody been to Port Merion? I haven't and it looks lovely but is it really really busy?
And the one who used AI so glad he’s goneWas he the tattooed royal family obsessed guy?
She was the voice-over on Eurotrash I think.Craig really ballsed it up this week. Who was his telly friend in his reel? Recognised her but couldn't place her!
that is exactly what I thought about the plants. they would be dead or wrecked in a monthI couldn't see the point of all the pot plants some of them used. They require care and maintenance, and sunlight of which there was none, plus dogs are likely to urinate on them. The brief was to recreate a home, not garden.
But Michelle loved them of course
(Michelle was on Woman's Hour last week - I didn't listen but her job title is 'Home Therapist'. Whatever that is when it's at home pardon the pun).
