Influencers trying to get tattle closed

Agreed these people have clearly never ventured onto Reddit if they think tattle is bad, Reddit would tear them apart even the ‘good’ ones.

I don’t see how tattle is any different to any other ‘celeb’ gossip site. I’m not a fan of when people make comments on appearances or things like that how ever these influencers put themselves out there willingly, it’s their own choice and people are going to have opinions on you good or bad. You can’t control people’s thoughts and where they share them and you have a choice as to whether you react to it or ignore it. Comments on a site separate from their social media accounts aren’t going to hurt them unless they seek them out themselves. I’d imagine for many real celebrities who know how brutal the public can be, ignorance is bliss maybe influencers should take note and just not actively seek out these comments and they’d be happier.

Em Sheldon clearly reads her thread on here daily... but she goes on about how trolls on forums should be in jail and she can't wait to see it happen, and how crazy it is they are even around. She wants the internet to be run like communist China. She has also doxxed people online from forums, stalks people's IPs and threatened them, and contacted people's employees about them posting on forums. I think its ridiculous. They pick up on the one or two bad comments and run with them as if that's what the whole site is full of. We aren't commenting on their posts or directing comments directly at them, so calling it trolling is ridiculous. They create this platform and surely must expect some backlash?? I personally don't see how this site is any different to discussing celeb gossip with your mates or the hairdresser etc

Yes I don't want our media and internet freedoms to call out bullsh*t to be taken away, else we become a dictatorship. Twitter is going that way anyway, you can't think for yourself on there without people providing you with essays to disprove or cancel you.

Tattle is a place we can discuss problemtic behaviour without taking it over to influencers' comment sections or DMs. Celebrities don't tend to moan about those who disagree with them, they shut up and get on with being famous and rich. Some influencers on the other hand seem to be very insecure and seem determined to police their followers to only blow smoke up their behinds.

In a regular public-facing job, if a customer made a complaint about the behaviour of a member of staff then it would be dealt with by management. You can’t just say “they’re a jealous hater” to your manager. If you write something negative (even in a polite way) to an influencer then it is deleted and you are blocked. If they want to be in public facing roles they need to take the opinions of the public just like everyone else has to, and seeing as they don’t allow people to do this on their own pages, it is done here instead. If they didn’t delete every ounce of negativity then maybe people wouldn’t have so much to say on here!

It’s quite easy to get an IP address if you know know how. My husband can do it cause he works in it etc. I got hacked last year and he was able to track them down and we were able to give the information to the police and an arrest was made as they hacked my account and bought stuff.

Nadia Sawalha and her husbands channel is policed within in an inch of its life, even subscribers who pay to watch them get banned for having an opposing opinion. The ó ly members allowed to commare the ones who blow smoke up their behinds. Tatle is a great place to discuss the monitization of their channel, theies they tell, their lewd behaviour etc. How some people expect to behave appallingly for the world to see and not expect the world to comment us beyond me. You cant get IP addresses from websites or apps unless someone did something very illegal like hacking into Facebook / tattle or there was a serious crime and the providers gave them over. Not that ip address are unique or personal - at most they usually give who the ISP is and a rough location within a 100 mile radius.

bull, it's not easy to get an ip address nore track people from it. If someone got into your email account you can probably see a history of IP address from login details in security with the provider. But no one can get your IP from tattle or a comment you make on a youtube video.

Perhaps if Instagram and other platforms removed the ability for “influencers” to filter their feeds by deleting comments they don’t like (I.e anyone asking questions or holding them accountable) then perhaps people would not need to go to sites like Tattle?

Make no mistake, the only reasons these “influencers” are raging is because they don’t get to control the narrative on what people discuss on Tattle.

Stronger regulation required for this new breed of “job type” in influencers. They can sell and market tit to followers all day, they self moderate their pages, they paint false or downright lies.

Their pages ARE their business/brand/livelihoods - we hear this every time Instagram alter their alogorithms and they lose “engagement” hurting their appeal and marketability. Yet, whenever someone posts feedback or critiques they freak out about how this is their little page and entitled to privacy etc. Well, what is it?
