She’s absolutely gearing up for another crowdfund.

I don’t understand how the kid has managed to ‘break’ a school bag? They were brand new in October 2023 (allegedly - although I did suspect at the time that the order date had been covered because she was regurgitating old receipts to placate donors).



Note how £35 of essentials for her kids is “crippling” but a £42 cozzie and a £12 bottle of after sun for herself is standard.

One of my kids got a decent school bag in Y6. It lasted through until the end of Y10 when I was like, fair play, it looks a bit tatty now, it’s done its time, let’s get a fresh one for Y11 through sixth form. However, it was/is still a perfectly functional bag. 5 years this bag served my kid. Japanese school kids keep the same randoseru for 6 years. 7 months that bag has lasted her ungrateful son. That’s called “not teaching your child to respect what they have” and opting for a label over quality.

I had an Adidas bag back in 1902 that was still in one piece about ten or so years after a couple of years' use at school. RIP my bag, which was robbed when we were broken into 🥹 I hope the ratbags enjoyed their bounty of 90's NME clippings of Damon Albarn.

I had the same bag throughout multiple spells at uni between about 2005 and 2011. I've mentioned it before because of the random shite I used to write all over it with Sharpies

My sons bag has lasted 8years (he still uses it for work now he’s left school)

I’ve had chargers last years and years and I don’t buy fancy ones, just Amazon basics

A laptop hinge? What on earth do they do to their stuff, genuine question!? Son’s laptop is 12 years old (I’m shocked it’s that old tbh now I’ve worked it out!) and looks good as new!

Where is Sarah getting this sub standard stuff from!?

If a kid breaks or loses the more expensive bag they should get a replacement no name bag. That's teaching responsibility and consequences of behaviour. Mad how she thinks them not having branded clobber is borderline abusive but them raising themselves while she naps and frantically refreshes twitter is OK.

How is it possible that a woman of 47 is so bad at this? 29 years of being an adult and she still lives like I did when I was a student. She's setting her children up for a lifetime of terrible habits.

No one in that household is peeling and boiling a spud on the hotplate either. My money’s on a bag of frozen wedges. Wonder if she’s defrosted the chip freezer yet, she hasn’t mentioned it…
I bet she used to leave homework due on Monday until last thing on a Sunday night too “when young”. No wonder she got booted off her Masters for falling behind.

It totally would. But she's not going to post her progress on things she's working on on twitter, apparently, which is a real shame because I'd be really happy to celebrate her successes.
