Lad with extensive criminal history linked to drugs being kidnapped is still fairly unlikely based on the situation but you totally get why his mum might be clinging to thinking that in this situation whereas a mum of a random normal lad would cling to say “alive and trapped because he broke his leg”.

Those threads have a tradition of taking a song and changing the words to fit with whatever nonsense she’s up to.
