So true when i seen there was a thread for lauren , to begin with i was shocked she portrayed such a 'perfect' lifestyle... until I seen she had already been married .. when she was preparing to marry Col I was genuinely lead to believe this was her first marriage... not the second ! And shocked there was evidence via a wedding blog for all to see.

I mean things happen in life so if its her second marriage theres nothing to be ashamed of but she mustnt have felt comfortable discussing it for whatever reason. Its just nice to think that people who want us to invest so heavily in their 'life' would be half honest about it.

Until I found here I had no idea she had been married before or that her mum helped her a lot. I often used to look at her IG and feel envious of her 'perfect' life. It wasn't until reading through here that I realised how curated her feed is, even down to portraying her life to be different to how it really is (ie never mentioning her mum being there helping).
Colin and Archies mum are both Scottish, they worked for John Lewis and moved to Cardiff when the branch opened there. Archies mum moved back to Scotland after the affair and now has a new partner and young son.

A school friend has met her a few times and is also oh-so-desperate to be “noticed” by brands on Insta too. All posts are staged. It’s beyond cringe. She tags Lauren a lot which is how I found her account. Like someone else said, it’s just like a car crash. Decorating your little boys’ room with Easter stuff they don’t give a squat about? Bizarre. Dressed in Sunday best every effing day? Really? Banging on about Bobbi Brown makeup yet always using blumming filters on your photos and stories? Sick of these influencers trying to coax new mums and impressionablea into buying a load of overpriced stuff they do not need. I predict a baby on the cards, she will be desperate to secure all the usual baby brands - that will be her next meal ticket in her Insta obsessed life.
Lauren is the epitome of all that is wrong with instagram. The falseness of it, the look at my perfect life. Make you feel crap about yourself. She hardly has this idyllic life and would never be able to personally afford most of the products she’s advertising. The sooner it comes crashing down the better.

Laur is that you?I follow this thread and generally agree with comments but I do find these types of comments unnecessary and not very tasteful. Judging her as a mother, stepmother. By the way location is not always someone has a choice in. I have a male friend who’s wife now lives overseas with their child. That doesn’t make him a bad father. Also I don’t think L has to be transparent on her past, relationships etc. as long as she is transparent in the way she handles social media and often isn’t which is why I follow this. But absolutely hate the judgy, gossipy types of chat on here. Sorry

You've probably noticed that many of these people also post similar pictures of their Jo Malone perfume bottles, Bobbi Brown makeup and White Company candles. Not very original at all...
