Second cycle, then miscarried in the April and was pregnant again in my June cycle with a successful pregnancy. I was using ovulation sticks and focusing almost solely on getting pregnant 😂

Took 3 months for my first and 18 months for my second, which was quite the shock. I was diagnosed with a short luteal phase and needed extra progesterone to fall pregnant. I paid for private fertility investigations and they prescribed my medication as the GP wouldn’t.

I really disagree with people saying don’t stress and it’ll happen because it simply isn’t true, it’s impossible not to stress when it’s month after month of negative tests. It can become all consuming though so try and organise things to distract yourself from baby making. I hope you get there 🤞
8 cycles for my first son. Currently TTC my second for 7 cycles but I’ve just got in touch with my GP regarding a short luteal phase also, it’s been short 4 out of 7. Really disappointing the GP didn’t address your concerns but I will go to a specialist if I have to.

I came off the pill in July 2020 and got pregnant at the beginning of Jan 2021 however I wasn’t trying properly (was missing fertile window completely). And it was only December and Jan cycles that we definitely DTD during fertile window, so 2 cycles.

I fell pregnant on the copper coil. It’s supposed to be more than 99% effective so was understandably very shocked!

About 14 months with my first. We tried for about a year with no success and then I started using the ovulation test strips and found that I was ovulating far earlier than I had thought I would be, once I knew my window it happend pretty quickly and I could pinpoint the exact day/weekend that we conceived.
our second was after about 6 months - but we were being far more relaxed - and it just happened without any tracking or planning 😃

Within weeks of deciding to start trying. Huge shock as I have hormonal conditions that can really make it a struggle and I didn't even think I had ovulated yet! Bloody Clue app lol.

9 months..... Was convinced something was wrong, went to the doctors who checked my bloods to be sure I was ovulating and gave my husband a pot to check his swimmers and that month before he had a chance to fill his pot I fell pregnant. I would say just to put your mind at rest speak with your doctor. Best of luck.

It's hard going I feel for you 😔 it took me nearly a year with regular ovulation and cycles, there's something like only a 20% chance it will happen any given month though.
Some people swear by the smep, not sure if you've tried anything like that?

Sorry to hear that. December for me and I wasn't on anything hormonal before (good old condoms) so I thought it would happen sooner. You're not alone ❤

I was a similar boat to you. I stopped taking the pill in January 2020 and my cycles were back regular very quickly, but I didn’t start trying until December. Each month I got a negative was getting harder and harder. The only changes I made the month I conceived was using Clearblue ovulation sticks. Back in May I received a TTC Tarot reading (I’m really not into all that, I must’ve been feeling down that day and it popped up) but I must say, it put my mind at ease and then I conceived in July. (The reading has been spot on so far but it’s still early days).

It will happen for you and you must believe that, it’s just hard because you grow up thinking if you have unprotected sex once you’ll get pregnant, which isn’t the case at all in 95% of people. They do say something like 80-90% of women fall pregnant within 12 months. I hope it happens for you very soon x

It's horrible isn't it, I've been at this over 2 years now, definitely go to your doctor. We've been diagnosed with unexplained infertility so just have made the decision to try IUI next month. The worst part of all of this is all the uncertainty of when it will happen so at least with a couple of appointments it gives you something to focus on
