It's a live issue for the RF and I would expect 'something' might happen this year. Without wishing the worst on anyone, last year we had a deadly pandemic, HMTQ and PP in their 90s and highly vulnerable, and both Prince Charles and Prince William caught COVID-19 and were symptomatic. So the Regency Act and who currently is Counsellor of State became live issues, not abstract stuff that only nerdy Royal Watchers care about. Hint: Harry is unfit and Andy is unacceptable....

(Current Counsellors of State: Philip, Charles, William, Harry and Andrew. Why?

The Regency Act 1937 established in law those individuals who could serve as counsellors of state: the counsellors of state are the monarch's spouse and the first four people in the line of succession who meet the qualifications.[4] These qualifications are the same as those for a regent, including that councillors of state must be at least 21 years old (except the first in line, who need only be 18 years old), they must be domiciled in the United Kingdom, and they must be a British subject.)
Where is Princess Anne in all of this?
Pipped by the post by Andrew by accident of birth sex?
But Hazza (Duke of) is not domiciled in the UK & so not eligible?

At least, HMTQ needs to issue Letters Patent to amend the Regency Act 1937 to reflect UK sex equality legislation?

EDIT: just catching up on this afternoon’s posts, see y’all on the case 😀

Yes I agree with you. She looks as if she's about to give birth in the chicken coop although the bump is positioned way too high.
This blog about Archie's birth highlights some of the issues:
Written at the time, May 2019, of Archie’s birth.
From the off, so much did not stack well.

I deliver for Waitrose, and yesterday one of my deliveries had four boxes of Twinings tea subbed in place of Waitrose own tea ... and the woman I was delivering to went nuts about it :ROFLMAO: . Safe to say the Twinings tit went back on the van and back to the store. People are VERY fussy when it comes to tea and almost always reject the substitutions.

Bettys Tearoom Blend is the only tea worth drinking, shame you either have to go to one of their Yorkshire cafes to buy it, or order an entire truck load to make the 5.95 delivery charge worthwhile.
I’d send FOUR boxes of sub’d tea brand back.
Darjeeling is my poison & Twinings Darjeeling is a middling blend by my tastebuds.

That is quite the claim from Piers though - I think it really undermines everything he has done so far and makes him look as flakey as the Harkles!
Even if it was true (which I'm not so sure about) there's no way of proving it and it looks like a flimsy brag! He would have been better keeping that knowledge to himself.
Why is it quite a claim though? I think maybe you and some others are reading it as if he got personal notes from Family members. I read it as that he received messages (whether by email or phone) from persons close to the royals appreciating his defence of them. It could be cortiers or frustrated aristo cousins or simply just friends the royals mingle with.
He's not claiming Brenda/Phil/William called him personally. They wouldn't and nobody with half a brain would imagine they did, apart from sugars, but their brains are only working on 10% battery at the best of times.

Yes they've used words that describe porno activities and say these are words said by Farchy. This was discussed a few threads back, and from memory @ResidentMerkin took one for the team and listed them all from the Urban Dictionary. Tattlers were reeling and some sensitive souls were traumatised. It seems a creepy and perverted joke for H&M to do this to a child. There was another new word by Farchy that he said the other day but I can't recall what it was.
Hydrate ?

I wonder if insiders in RF, rather Charles and Queen herself knew about her 'allegerd' surrogacy and fake baby bump?
I think they found out about it, and it put them in a very difficult position. They couldn't call them out as its a personal issue, and then the Harkles could turn it around and say they did know and were equally as complicit. Some way back it was suggested that RF found out and sent them packing...which Is why they ran off to Canada.

Yes exactly, which why it stood out a bit that Omoid and Shippy went (or were under orders) full steam into pompous fact-checking mode.

When the news came this afternoon via Dan W that Prince William has dropped Tom Bradby, those messages of support to Piers made more sense. Think this is the RF / courtiers sending a message to ITV and to the Harkles.

Kelvin Mackenzie on twitter asking why Piers isnt being sued.
The responses sound very Tattlerish.
(Yachts & moonbumps are mentioned.)

Tom Bradby's Knighthood won't be happening, then?

Including their own child in such vile practises indicates a serious problem with boundaries and would be flagged by social services as a possible cause for concern.

The legislation wasn't applied retroactively so Anne is currently 15th in line. It seems the laws regarding being domiciled in the UK are quite complicated so Harry probably is most likely still eligible to be a Councillor of State alas

It's very interesting that both Scoobie and Chris Ship are behaving in manner that suggests Piers Morgan requires fact-checking on the not-particularly surprising idea that Palace aides have conveyed a polite message of thanks for the support, whilst THE DUCHESS and Harrybaldi can 'mis-speak' their heads off on primetime for two hours and they don't bat an eyelid.

The sheer pomposity of Chris Ship intoning that Piers 'stands by his comments' made me blink. What on earth are ITV News up to?
Don't forget ITV paid millions for "the interview" so are hardly going to agree it was a pack of lies (even though it was). They are trying to save face and not making a very good job of it!

Scobie race baiting again. This time over the disappearance of a 19 year old boy.

Of course it's very sad but there's rather a difference in ages here (and let's not get into the whole Madeleine debate).

M&S Extra strong, three quick dunks of the bag, a splash of milk with one sugar and I'm happy.
But .... If you only do three quick dunks then why buy extra strong? Heathen.
Sainsbury's red label. Tea bag left very much in so that its strong enough by the time I get to the bottom. And also saves time when I'm in a hurry.
Could also explain the palpitations though 🤔

This! I think he is just playing 'their game' and making most of the situation 🤷🏻‍♀️ as much as I dislike him - good for him.. I mean if the witch would cost me job I would do the same 😈😎

(Look at Sharon she did apologise yet still lost her job so why to hold back...? 🤷🏻‍♀️)

They are comparing apples and oranges. Madeleine has been missing for, what, 15 years? She was also a toddler so didn’t leave voluntarily.

Richard was missing for a few days.

That said, the response his mother got when she reported him missing was horrific. My heart clenched when said “My baby’s not coming home”. That’s how I would feel too if he was my son 😥

Incidentally, if Scobie is so incensed by racism, why is he worshipping at the bumhole of a man who routinely used the word “p**i”? Hypocrite.
