The miscarriage story appears to come into being when the case against the Mail begins to unravel.
And is then used to make the claim that it is the Mail's fault for putting her through the stress of the court case that she miscarried.
We'll ignore for now that it was il Duce that brought the case.

The implication - assumption - is that it is the British government doing whatever....
