I've just heard on the news that BBC is holding all the other stations to ransom re Corrie footage.utter twats! We should all boycot BBC and watch sky.sont even know if gbnews is covering it??
Usually for big events like this, only one organisation is allowed to film but they then share their footage with all the other outlets.
If its only BBC cameras filming the coro and they don't share it with other news outlets there won't BE anyone else covering it.
As the BBC are not a profit making organisation they shouldnt be allowed to do this. They are funded by licence fees. They don't need to sell to the highest bidder to stay afloat and royal events should be shared with everyone.
Watch this space.
I doubt they will get away with it.
I expect there will be an intervention.
It's too important an event.
Might even be a decision from up high to give the filming to someone else who will share without overcharging and the BBC might get permission pulled.
I expect Talk TV and GBNews will be onto this so it might be an idea to watch those channels tonight to keep up to date with developments.
If I was King, I would tell the BBC they can't show any coro footage at all now.
And make them remove all their cameras so someone else can put theirs in place of them.
There's time.
