Look at the crowds in Soho!

Really makes all the tales of the Harkle security "demands" look utterly ridiculous, doesn't it!

So many well known names and not so well known, paying tribute to KC. I never realised Jimmy Choo started his business with a grant from Princes Trust

Have been up to see the Corrie Prep this evening

The tulips at the Buckingham Palace end of The Mall are STUNNING.The white tents are all mini TV studios. One of them probably contains Scobiecunt waiting for his strings to be operated.

Believe this means thats Chaz and Cammy were at home when I called

1683240559212.png

Saw Farage and Rees Mogg in their GB News tent studio. Actually I almost bumped into Rees Mogg further up the Mall earlier as he was strolling about on his own, happily chatting to randoms.

There are lots of decorations around that I haven't seen in the papers yet. The amount of TV broadcast infrastructure around the place is *phenomenal*, this is a global event on a massive scale like I don't think we've ever seen before. There are TV camera positions literally every few metres along the route. The coverage of the parade is going to be incredible.

When you see the HUNDREDS of TV camera positions that are set up all along the route for yourself, it's absolutely impossible to believe that Markle is willingly missing the chance to appear.

The local parish church looks mighty fine and ready. The TV infrastructure that's been built directly opposide the Abbey is mind blowing. As I say above you really get a scale for how big a global television event this is going to be when you see the size of the TV camera galleries that have been built.

The projections onto Big Ben are really, really cool. It's all animated and goes through a cycle of different scenes lasting a couple of minutes. I've about a million photos of it in all the different combinations.

The atmosphere around there is amazing already. Cannot wait for Saturday!

Happy New Thread, Happy Birthday to those who've been celebrating (but please leave enough champagne in the lounge for the Coronation - you know what SOME of the VIPS here are like...), and congratters to new VIPs - you're on clean up duty post-Saturday 😘

Brilliant footage of a Montecito resident and her opinion on her 'neighbours':

Some of my coronation goodies turned up today and I thought I'd share some pics as I know you guys will appreciate them!

My nan always collected coins for royal occasions and I have her coin from QEII's coronation so this one will go nicely with it

Some cornish goodies recommended by one of you lovely Tattlers for the big day

And I popped into town at lunchtime today and the bunting is out, I'm now officially very excited!!

Scenes of bedlam as the fleet of coaches loaded with Tattlers " get away" on their journey to London, ready for the Kings Coronation......
...several Tattlers were taken short already, and had to nip into people's front gardens en-route .
Much spending a penny was indulged in , and that was before the charbancs got near the Motorway ...
Shops have been stripped of supplies ; candles are being rationed all over the South-East

While the Harry Markle Blog is entertaining, she gets on the Palace's tits for not reacting the way SHE wants at the exact moment SHE wants it. It's getting a bit tiresome. She is determined to show that everyone hates Charles and that the family is to blame for not cutting off the Stoats at the knees immediately.

This is something that frustrates me as a historian when people second guess certain decisions - they want people to react with the benefit of hindsight. The reality is that they can only react with the information that they have in the moment. The RF has done the best they could and I think we will see the pace of repercussions continue apace.

I do hate the current attitude of "too cool for school" as if there is something wrong with being excited about something. I am excited for the Corrie, not the least because I get to share it with like-minded people like all of you!

I made a Victoria Sponge for our family party tomorrow. template could have been worse. I also made 35 mini quiches last week and froze them although I swapped broad beans for asparagus and parsley for tarragon. They did say it can be altered to tastes and still classed as a Coronation quiche!

Thanks to @LadyMuck for the thread title. There is no denying even the most curmudgeonly of people are getting on the coronation bandwagon.

Happy birthday to Princess Charlotte - she rules the roost over two brothers! Shades of Anne IMO.

Thanks to Zippy and others for posting the rehearsal pics.

Tattlers on both sides of the pond are hosting swoon worthy gatherings - @Amiyaya with an intimate weekend of delights and @MeInMidAmerica with her coronation pomp, KC3 and all, minus the gilded carriage.

Happy birthday to @Who’sYerDaddy and @Wackie Jeaver

thanks to @Chita and @Cinnamon.girl for your ongoing creativity and transcription presence and IIRC our resident hedgewitch is @Cassandra333 - any blessings for the coronation?

Tattle on peeps! Old Fred here

Personally I love a broad bean so it's a shame the coronation quiche has gone down like a lead balloon, but this did make me chuckle 🤣

My mum bought a raffle ticket at Morrison's today to win a Coronation hamper (full of food etc. etc.). The silly cow only went and won it! Bloody hell ... we've got enough nibbles for a month!!!

Seeing all the excitement, media and crowds around i don't believe that she chose to not attend this coronation. Even if there were a few boos she'll never have millions in the street watching her again. She was banned and is a home fuming and absolutely devastated. Left eye go....

Last night husband had a couple of slices of toast slathered, absolutely slathered, in black currant jam. He said he “just found it” in the fridge and really fancied some.
The posh black currant jam that I bought to go with the scones and cream tomorrow.
