So is this 'attending as spectators' their attempt to release PR photos to overshadow everyone else? Clearly. UGH.

it’s gonna be dangerous to say anything negative about them without being called racist, it’s made the media and most online personalities fearful of saying anything,

she’s a clever girl.
She may well bring Snakebite along for the ride, not for anything useful or honest or family-related. Just a reminder to us racists that Minge is biracial in case we'd forgotten, and that The Race Card is never far from her grasping claws.

Off topic but who do I need to thank for introducing me to Aero melts? I'm sure I read about them on here.

Tomorrow my daughter and I will be watching TOTC with my 86yr old mother, we will be having afternoon tea.

The farkles are still twats of hell.

Good old Richard Eden. You put Shippy in his place

I read this as well some days ago. Shipwreck doesn't even bother to get his facts straight before tweeting rubbish. Support for the Monarchy is unchanged and it's great to see that young people don't want it to be abolished either which is very heartening. Republic should admit they're flogging a dead horse, and stop their wishful thinking of a pouting Macron or sneering Erdogan in charge.

It was @Doodlebug005 who first mentioned the melts.

I know it's not great that we are having to host 2 very odious individuals for the jubilee - my money was on them not coming - but here's a little consolation. My DH was in Northolt driving to a maintenance call around noon today. He was puzzled to see lots of police vans, motorcycle despatch risers and assorted other police officers busily closing roads. Not being a tattler, he asked himself who was so important that was visiting and coming in via a private airport. We'll he had nothing to do but wait and watch, as he was stuck in traffic and couldn't go anywhere. Eventually flashing lights and the police escort riders went past and they were escorting .... a giant horse box. Wouldn't it be lovely if their first view of old blighty was the rear end of a horse in a vehicle with no windows that reeks of manure.
If seems strange that so many police were escorting a horse-box. Jokes aside, could it be that it had been modified inside temporarily to transport them away in secret?. They must know that everyone's looking out for flights etc, watching for them, and they don't want to be seen arriving because it's just the 2 of them, no children.
If Dobbin was in with them, I hope he shat on Noballs and put a dent in her botox with his hoof.
If it's the norm for horse-boxes to have a police escort, apologies.
Could it have been the grey horse that was presented to the Queen by Macron?

I got an invite this afternoon from the nursing home where my husband is cared for to their jubilee barbecue on Saturday. I mentioned that hubby might not be too keen on seeing me eat a burger when all he can eat is pureed food.

"Don't worry" I was told, the chef has pureed the separate ingredients of a burger and then moulded them back into a burger shape, bun and all! How fabulous is that! So hubby can have a burger but as it will be soft it will have to be eaten with a spoon, but it will taste like a burger. The chef is also going to do the same with fish and chips.

And to 'crown it all', so to speak, we can finish off with the Lemon Platinum Jubilee trifle, pureed for those who need it. I can't wait. Will try to get some pics and post them on here if I can. 😋

That's wonderful, and it's lovely that your husband and the other residents can fully enjoy the Jubilee barbeque
