You're right. Based on my knowledge of how VIPs and above are treated here (one of our former PMs had occupied a whole floor back in the early 1980s), I was thinking that Catherine would be somewhere separate so the children wouldn't be really interacting with/going near anyone else. I'm myself scared of anything airborne especially around the entrance (there are usually people waiting for vehicles or to be wheeled in at the local hospitals - they're very busy ones). Post-Covid has worsened that fear especially after a pretty bad incident.
I think I'll add children to the list of things I'm now scared of

a more legit reason to stay away from them than "they are brats" (the ones I encounter are).
Going to the hospital for mum made me realise that I couldn't go into medicine in spite of having the aptitude - I'm too squeamish except when I'm in 'do it for my loved ones' mode

Thankfully I'd already been interested in journalism for quite a while by then. Mum's specialist was a bit disappointed I think - it was a teaching hospital so he used to love teaching me too. I was fascinated but also usually mentally throwing up a little

Prepared me in case I needed to cover health as a beat. The Wales children are too young still though.
Of course, Smegs appears to not mind medical facilities, with all the face surgery, fillers etc and the dental work she keeps getting done. Although the latest round of whatever she did to her face makes it look like she didn't go to a legit facility or surgeon.
