Look at the remit: documentaries, docu-series, feature films, scripted shows and children's programming.
It's very easy to pour money away and they sure know how to do thatAs neither of them are experienced in producing they will be relying on people they employ on extremely large salaries and taking advice off people who could potentially fleece them. Bring it on

It's simple. Netflix have bought the Harkles tell-all Royal documentary (or a series of them) . They're going to throw in an elephant documentary or two as a sweetener but basically this is about Harry and Meghan selling Royal secrets.
After they've done their Royal bit, the deal will fizzle out.
It will be interesting to see if Oprah has a piece of their production company.
ETA The NY Times story says that Harry and Meghan will appear on camera in documentaries so that's the 'tell'. We know Megz has been shopping a Diana-style documentary for a while.

I really don’t understand why a massively successful company like Netflix would sign a deal with 2 completely unproven talentless cunts. They have absolutely no experience in this cutthroat market. I’m astounded that they would be so stupid.

I don’t understand why they were handed a deal? Harry is somewhat i tersting if you take his background into account but Smeghead has NOTHING interesting about her. There are 1000’s of really good producers out there trying to get a foot in the door and these two just stole their jobs

Totally agree Scotch - even a huge established production company would struggle to create that range of specialist content, let alone two non-entities with zero experience. It's like saying you are going to open a restaurant that cooks Indian, Chinese, Mexican & French with no cooking experience at all. Or restaurant management. Or financial experience etc etc...They've got no bleeping intention of ever repaying it.

Netflix might have signed a framework deal but they won't have committed to much. Yup this has the potential to badly backfire and ruin them financially.
Netflix will be hoping for a royal exclusive which Smeg will be happy to supply doing a teary Diana impression. Very few will want to watch any programmes they might produce on their pet causes (global warming/feminism/racism).
