I think it was not they were escorted out - just towards the next room and Charles only wanted the queen and heirs to be photographed at the table. At the death of the queen, William will be invested as Prince of Wales. If they took offence to that - tough, it’s the way it is. It should be slimmed down.

Exactly! Her father is white and her mother is half caste meaning Meghan is three quarters white! She is not a woman of colour!
Before marriage Harry always seemed to be included with Kate and William. The three appeared regularly together. It seems to have changed post marriage. Thats not a dig at Meghan, maybe he was included so that he wasn’t left out. But this should have all been communicated to him and her when they got engaged.
I have no objection to them leaving. But I do object to;
- retaining 95% Duchy income.
- monetising from their royal titles.
- freedoms to publish in press.
- Frogmore - an apartment would suffice when they return to stay unless it’s 50:50 in both countries.
Other Royals (Anne, Edward, Zara, Phillip P) have found a way to live relatively normal lives without any of this, but Harry and Meghan want to retain the best parts of Royal life with full control. That control should respectfully sit with our Majesty. Finding a blueprint? Surely they have one with the above mentioned?
Their titles should go, but he retains as was born, a Prince.

The only time he was thriving in the BRF was with Will+Kate, and amongst the Invictus games and Sentebale. Prior to that he was all teenage angst and since the wedding he seems deeply troubled in his demeanour. He just looks so miserable.
I remember when I was younger, there was talk that he wanted a quiet life in Africa. He thought she wanted the same and theirs was to be a perfect path carved out together as a married couple.
The thing is, her mask has slipped and we can see that for her it was all about the fame/ clout/ money/ access to the 1%.
His dream of making a real difference in this world seems to have been lost. He's now about "financial independence" i.e. milking the cash cow off the back of his title. He's lost his way and isn't likely to come back. I definitely think she played a big role in that.
Do I blame her fully? Nope. He's an adult and he thinks he's being noble choosing his wife over his duty, and protecting his new family from the same fate of his mother. He is so wrong on all these fronts. He can't see how she's isolated him entirely. And his treatment of his grandparents (both when Phillip was in the hospital and now how they broke this news) is unconscionable!
But make no mistake- I strongly feel that she is in control, that she has manipulated him from the start, and that she is behind all this hurry to get out quickly now. It's just that he's a willing accomplice.
Let them go. Maybe they'll do some good or maybe they'll sell out to line their own pockets. Either way, the best thing is for everyone to ignore them! She would die if the press just decided to literally ignore them entirely now that they've opted out of the rota!
I am hopeful that will still happen once all this has settled down. There are others who are just as click-baity as these two and would sell the magazines/papers, and those celebs won't throw temper tantrums!

Didn’t Harry say something a few years ago along the lines of he knows he only has a few years in the spotlight before George grows up (I think it may have been pre the younger two). I’ll confess to not knowing a lot about him but could it be that he likes the spotlight & isn’t prepared to be a Princess Anne?
She does and she also have copyrighted the title for everything from socks to toothpaste. She is going to monetise they RF. Which, I personally think is disgusting.
