The statue as far as I can tell represents a black child (who looks terrified) being chased by a fairly scary looking bulldog. What's that about?

“How do you actually move house when the country is in lockdown?”
May I just say that America is weird. With coronavirus, individual states and even cities made different decisions about lockdown.
My state, Virginia, implemented lockdown and all schools, etc. were closed on March 13. We were told to shelter in place. Essential businesses like grocery stores, etc. were open.
Then we started phases, we are in phase 3 now.
Within the state, some schools are virtual, some schools are teaching 2 or 4 days a week (half the students in on Monday and Tuesday, half in on Thursday and Friday, Wednesday would be a deep cleaning day), some schools are back on a regular schedule; it is based on the situation in each area within the state.
Not all states locked down. Some states had very few cases.
California is locked down.
A move might be considered essential if they were in Tyler Perry’s house and had planned to leave at a certain time. Essential businesses are open

I think Harry and Meghan are such a contradiction. They chose an obscene display of wealth that will require quite a bit of maintenance and yet they talk about being eco- friendly. I understand wanting a nice house, just if they are truly environmentally aware, do they need quite so much...
On the other hand, as stated above, well - played @ Meghan. She has her multi- million dollar house, she lives near the “A” listers. She is set for life. And she did that with no discernible talent.
AND the coup de grâce, she did all this while firing multiple shots at the royal family and possibly doing serious damage to them as an institution.

I'm just in the process of buying a new house (no, I'm not M...!) and with one thing and another, I'm wondering just what the repayments are going to be on their £/$9 million mortgage... That's got to be a serious monthly payment, surely...? And the running costs with all the staff they'll need are mind-boggling. Ah well, good job they've got the Bank of Dad behind them, I guess.
