Possibly unpopular opinion, but I really dislike Angela Kelly. I bought her last book thinking that it would provide lovely insights into the late Queen and ended up throwing it out - it showed Angela to be arrogant, insufferable, and unlikeable - way more high and mighty than the person that she was employed by. I can understand why the senior Royals don't like her.
Could be the right thing to do if the palace says:-Royal insiders believe there’s a chance of peace talks. But both sides ‘need to hold their hands up and admit: we got a lot wrong’

We were wrong to cover up Harry’s many misdemeanours in the past
We were wrong to allow Harry and Meghan to have a wedding that cost British taxpayers millions
We were wrong not to allow any press reporting of the many bullying claims against Harry and Meghan
We were wrong not to follow royal protocol regarding any children that are shown in the LOS
etc, etc, etc……
In my dreams the RF asks them to come to the bargaining table to iron things out…

When the Gruesomes start listing their grievances, they’re made aware that this is live TV!
Richard Cranium blows a gasket and screams about doing things privately!
Then? Princess Anne reminds them the book changed everything, she looks straight into the camera and yells,

I'm saying it now. They won't be there.
I'm sure this has been mentioned a hundred times already but the symbolic importance of this security issue seems like it could be at the centre of a lot of Harry's nuclear-level tantrum. Imagine how important you would understand yourself to be if you'd been protected by three armed guards your entire life. Everywhere you go. And how special and impressed you could make someone you were infatuated with feel if they were accompanied by police escorts and flashing blue lights just to make the trip from Heathrow to your house to see you. And then, after a lifetime of assuming that all this was because you *were actually that important*, you overplay your hand and ask for too much and it all just...goes away. No more specially-trained armed guards, no more blue lights for the impressionable lady friend. All of a sudden you're just a guy who has to pay himself for the things he wants, like a lot of others, with a wife who married you in part because she was expecting big things. Not so special after all, and not nearly so impressive to the wife who now doesn't seem all that keen...
So much of the crazier aspects of Harry's recent outbursts seem to me like a furious, sort of humiliated reaction to realising that, actually, he's just a man after all, not an Extra Special Prince By Birth And Forever No Matter What like people and said lady friend and he himself thought he was. He's said in interviews that he was sure the RF would never pull security on account of "his wife's heritage"; my guess is that he was convinced they wouldn't because *he* was so important. Having that key part of his self-belief and his ability to impress the lady removed all of a sudden has pushed him into this hyper-defensive, destructive, 'i'll make you pay for this' mode. I reckon.

No way. This is Harry's memoir and his book tour. It wouldn't look good if she was part of this, and it would feed into the narrative that she leads Harry around by his nose. Her absence is the right thing. They have PR people that would quash that in a minute. It's not "their" book. It's "his" memoir about parts of his life from childhood on through to present day. This book covers so much in his life. It's not just a Meghan and Harry story. I started back reading it today, and he and Cressida have just broken up. I personally think that it would hurt him to have Meghan inserting herself into his promotional tour right out of the gate. She's been out so much in the last six months with The Cut interview, her podcast, their documentary just a month ago or so and whatever else I'm missing. She needs to go away for a while.@LadyMuck
