So much for eons! I just hit the next member stage, all thanks to all the craziness going on today and not being able to hold back on giving my opinion. I am now an "active member".It took me forever to get to just "Member" status from New Member. (Which I was thrilled about!) It's going to be eons for me to get to the new stage. I do read every post, but everyone says anything worth saying before I get a chance to.

I've been learning new slang words for the last few years. My favorite is "Bloody Hell" and I use it quite often, too. And for some reason, I've always said "arse", that must have come down from my Scottish/Irish gg grandparents, and my son's bagpipe teacher used to say "numpty". (Thankfully, not directed at my son, lolol. Though he can be a bit of a numpty once in a while.)

We did a £9.50 holiday many years ago. Maybe we got lucky but it was good. We had a caravan in Cornwall next to the beach and upgraded for about £20 to the 'deluxe' model. We went with friends so it was £15 each for 4 nights. I assume they have a deal going to use any weeks that haven't been booked. Obviously, you take a chance and it could end badly but as long as you don't have the Harkles next door screaming and shouting it can actually work.
