Frogmore House is also open to the public on occasion (not this year due to covid). And I think the public can get FAIRLY close to it even when it is not open?
Whereas I understand Frogmore Cottage to be decently secluded and hidden, which is what they said they wanted in life.

Frogmore HOUSE is a lot bigger than Frogmore COTTAGE where the Gruesomes lived, and has privacy. I would think with a young family that Windsor Castle may be a bit restrictive. The children need a lovely big garden to play in which is private. I'm not sure what there is at Windsor Castle but it is open to visitors so that could be a bit of a problem.I would rather see them get MORE than smeggy got
