The Harkles are playing the game of Diana.
How? Since late 1990, she was in contact with people which operate on American media principles : Barbara Walters, Oprah, Graham, Phil Donahue, Tina Brown, all media individuals which gave her guidance to become what she became-a global superstar, almost in her own right.
The game of being a Princess, was the start, with time she almost completely succeeded in representing Britain in her own right, it lasted until late 95.
The later involments however became politically controversial, land mines, being around arms dealers, tycoons, merching, accepting freebies etc.
In the aftermath of her death, the media, lawmakers, activists, the Spencers and the RF, however developed a sudden interest in maintaining Diana's Sainthood.
Because it was profitable.
Late 1997, Times article, The Diana Memorial fund accumulated 150 million £(not typos).
25 years later the cash is still flowing.
Why the rambling above?
It would be perfect if Harry goes the conspiracy route, it doesn't pass muster.
The ghostwriter is a specialist on father- son relationships, which basically means that Charles is royaly fucked however.
And, yes this is dangerous, they just successfully bought more time, removing the titles now just exposes the RF to:

Charles however is going from mistake, to mistake, and is now constantly in the media as the boogeyman, it will get worse with the writer Harry has chosen.
I respectfully disagree that removing the titles now exposes the RF to more speculative whispers of racism, or of anything else, really - nefarious or otherwise, at this point.
Not only have the 6’s proven themselves to be manipulative, hypocritical, tone deaf liars who use and discard everything/everyone on a whim, but they’ve singlehandedly tarnished the shiny St Diana legend, opening the door to questions discussion about her mental state/mental illness, making many see the motivations behind all she said and did in an unflattering light. The whole conspiracy theory behind her death issue doesn’t work, really, no matter how they try, because today’s Information Age has everything - including lurid death photo, apparently - recorded and easily found to be dragged out and gone over with a fine tooth comb.
As for the ghost writer making Prince Charles look worse because of his own daddy issues.. well, that’s old news, nothing new and exciting because it’s already been done by Diana and then by 6.
The ‘evil royal racist, who could it be’ card has already been played, complete with the sly suspicion being thrown towards the next (two) in line to the throne in order to cast a negative light on their characters - without, of course, one shred of hard evidence, just more rumormongering to stir the pot. In my opinion, that’s pretty much backfired with their getting caught in so many lies, but the point is this is old news. It’s not salacious and exciting.
The RF, in the meantime, have quietly and successfully gone about business as usual, creating new life chapters all the while refusing to be drawn into the ugliness that are the 6’s.
While the world loves to giggle over bit of drama and gossip, we also tend to admire and lean towards those who behave with respect for others and for themselves, and understand that those who respect no one - especially themselves- enjoy tossing others under the bus in order to make themselves look important are to be avoided like the plague.
At this point in time, I honestly see the majority of the world snickering derisively at the 6’s
tit show, but taking each chapter with half a grain of salt and moving on quickly because it’s all the same terrible off key old song on repeat.
In my opinion, this is the perfect time for the RF to very publicly and completely cut the cord with the 6’s. Any time is perfect. In the end haters are going to hate, lovers are going to love, people will believe what they want or need to believe - timing of the cord cutting means nothing, it just needs done.
