I think that things have been put in place over the last few months just waiting for the go-ahead from Brenda /Chas/Wills.But, to quote pretty much every soap opera in history "It's complicated".
They thought removing his titles and patronages punishment enough last year and have waited for that arse-smack to bring him in line, but it's quite obvious it has only fired him up more and I don't doubt the wheels have been slowly turning for a total take down in some form, but it's a huge step and I understand the reluctance to act.
We all need to be patient and just watch and comment on the dirt flying out of the hole the toxic twins are digging.
Remember that with each stunt more people switch to team Brenda and the balance is shifting nicely. I think the palace are awaiting the right moment.
Just remembered something. The game of being a Princess, was the start, with time she almost completely succeeded in representing Britain in her own right, it lasted until late 95.
The later involments however became politically controversial, land mines, being around arms dealers, tycoons, merching, accepting freebies etc.
In the aftermath of her death, the media, lawmakers, activists, the Spencers and the RF, however developed a sudden interest in maintaining Diana's Sainthood.
Because it was profitable.
Late 1997, Times article, The Diana Memorial fund accumulated 150 million £(not typos).
25 years later the cash is still flowing.
