I only really follow this thread, and I lurk on the Matt Hancock one because that whole thing was just farcical. I've seen way worse things on Twitter than on here, and a lot of those people never ever get called out, especially if they think the same way as TPTB at Twitter. Look at the things the sugars say about the RF, particularly the Cambridges, and the actual threats a few of them have made. I've been on this thread for a few months now and I've never seen a single comment about Meggy that could remotely be construed as racist or threatening. This thread is basically the DM comments section with fruitier language, and more wit and creativity. And some of the funniest and nicest posters I've encountered on forums in a long while.
What will happen next will be DDOS attacks, web hosts refusing service and domain registrars refusing to renew your domain name. It's going to get a lot worse than a newspaper article.Worry not. No it really won't, there's nothing hateful, threatening or abusive here. People (including a Listers) have been trying to get the site taken down since 2018 to no avail.

You are correct. They should have effed off and done what they wanted quietly. But the UK media is guilty for baiting us. Most of the posts thread-wide are actually truly what people think, without any actual death threats, and any argumentative posters generally disappear after a few days or are rightly pushed when their purpose is obvious. I have never had the opportunity to debate with such a wonderfully diverse group of people at anytime in my life and my opinions have occasionally changed with evidence provided and I sometimes find it emotionally humbling and moving and at other times a complete LOL joy. I, like others, have unwittingly rattled a few cages and hope that over time those points are forgotten <coughs>. And the kids are discussed because the whole situation surrounding them is bizarre. It's not just because it's Harry and Meghan. It would be bizarre if other Royals had done the same sort of cloak-and-dagger stuff with their pregnancies and showing their kids to the world, and we'd undoubtedly be talking about it the same way.
If Hazza and Meg had gone off for a real private life, we wouldn't even be here. But they're still out there, in our faces, insulting our nation, PR company working overtime pushing the narrative, and clinging to what's left of their Royal credentials for dear life. As such they're still public figures, members of our Head of State's immediate family, previously funded from the largesse of us lowly taxpayers, and Harry is 6th in line to the throne. Or as Meggy is rumoured to have put it, one plane crash away. So, they're fair game for discussion and criticism in my book.

Hello Yel can I add my thanks for your post and for your fair monitoring. I think we're what they call low-hanging fruit and an easy target, while the really poisonous ones operate freely. It is worrying that the only real 'influence' these scammers are having is the driving towards negative ambitions that some young people have now aspired to be and the lengths that some of those kids are prepared to go. Many of these 'influencers' also fail to mention that their lifestyles are often funded by sex work etc. There is a real disturbing cost behind this influencing trend and it's right that there should be a platform to dig into the truth, or should I say mistruths?My heart bleeds for them.
