The American healthcare system and healthcare delivery system is a huge mess where nothing makes sense. My guess is they chose a hospital based on their insurance situation and hospital security. They live in a very wealthy and exclusive area and the hospital there is nothing to look down on.

Lots of celebs have their kids at Cedars Sinai not because there is name recognition or prestige but because of security and accommodating the needs of wealthy. I think there is a fancy birthing suite they can get and therefore are guaranteed to have privacy.

But the American system is nuts so who knows for sure. A not for profit hospital is not the same as a public hospital.

After the Porka interview I read a comment on one of the articles in DM, allegedly from an inside source, that the Queen doesn't want to take away their titles because she doesn't think that PWB's intent with the interview was malicious. :oops: I was shocked. I wonder if she still thinks that. :(

As far as I know the UK press resisted the bait so didn't get sued as it wasn't in the UK papers. I don't know what happened in the US except No.6 expressed faux outrage that Farch was in danger of being kidnapped and Smeg was being stalked by paps. As if. He'd just returned from PP's funeral and must have known that Smeg got the photo set up and sent to the paps to publish as it can only have been her. What a pair they are.

She was merching her and Farch's clothes even though he was photoshopped onto her whale of a midriff and was far too big. From memory none of it made sense as she was dropping him off at a school that was miles away, but it was all a con like everything else.

Well, if they really are a source, I can't share their opinion, it is malicious and all because they didn't get to be half in and half out.

While it’s true that Cedars Sinai is two hours drive from Santa Barbara on a good day, it is a legendary private hospital where they have specialists to handle complex births. the rich and famous always seem to be there...it would be considered prestigious to have your baby there because it costs a fortune. The SB Cottage is a trauma centre although it does have a fine maternity unit, doesn’t carry the same panache as the other for a “royal baby”. I can imagine Smeg wanting to make it look as though she is of the beautiful people.

I don't doubt for one moment that that was what it was going to be about, but as soon as they said no to the half in half out, that's when it all changed.

I suppose the long drive doesn’t matter when there’s no real urgency cause you’re not actually pregnant, never mind in labour & doll-iana’s sitting in her box in a cupboard waiting to be whipped out at the first sniff of a royal engagement that needs upstaging🤗

Just read the Daily Mail article about the cretin throwing his family under the bus again with his blatant lies about content.

I hope they all block him on their mobiles now and refuse any calls at any of the residences swtichboards.

He needs to be sectioned for his own good.
