Torode feels like collateral damage. Execs saving themselves by being seen to act on the accusation against him swiftly.
You know Gregg is thrilled he has taken him down with him.

Grace Dent won’t be able to carry that show at all, she’s just bearable as a small cog sat at the table eating food she has no business critiquing,
Over the years she has somehow wormed her way around sound biting the Christmas shows that look back over the years at Music/adverts/ programmes,
And her teeth look more and more like they are being evicted from her mouth.. very hard to focus on the food or what she is saying ..
Despite the accusations Wallace and Torode made a good double act
Next pair to host this show need to have that easy banter and friendship because that’s part of the show, the contestants, the food, and the hosts friendship ..

Dare I suggest Andi Oliver? Really like her & she knows about food.
Assuming he knew what Gregg was up to, he stayed silent to protect someone who threw him under the bus at the first opportunity. He’s got exactly what he deserves. The same needs to happen for anyone else who willingly protected Gregg.
There's tea about her as well.
