Actually this behaviour can be quite typical of autistic individuals who feel they are being unjustly treated. they can be outraged and incensed. It’s very black and white.
My kid and his mates are regularly outraged by things that happen at school, and how unfair the system is. They are only 10

It can be. And I wouldn’t deny that he is autistic however I don’t believe he has been mistreated because of his autism. I believe he is a sleaze who has made many women uncomfortable and upset by his behaviour towards them, to the extent that it also upset men and women who witnessed it.

I read this evening that the BBC gave him training in 2019 and he’d been spoken to several times over the years about his behaviour!

he really needs to piss off and stop talking to the press under the guise of ‘friends’.

I don’t doubt he’s autistic but he also managed to build a successful business and work for several TV programmes, his autism wasn’t a problem then was it?

He is repulsive. I feel sorry for his wife, imagine the ranting and whinging he must be doing all day.

Strong sense of justice is very typical in autism as I know to my detriment however he is clearly weaponising his diagnosis. He has managed to navigate life successfully to date and be in a career where strong social skills are a benefit which has probably been a challenge with autism, so he is clearly intelligent and able to navigate aspects of his autism. Being that sexual harassment is very clearly not socially acceptable, in my experience an autistic adult with Greg's ability to navigate life would be hyper aware of avoiding it so as not to be socially excluded. In his market trader days there may have been an element of learned behaviour of misogynistic banter to fit in but for many years now he has been in an environment where that would have clearly been unacceptable, and he has had specific training around it.

Tl;dr he's a wrongun making tit excuses

I thought the same, I mean I know she’s married him so she has questionable taste anyway, but I bet he’s just been going on and on at her

My adult daughter has always been ashamed of her autism diagnosis which she has had since the age of 2. Now "autism" is used as a flag to brandish when individuals are rightfully challenged re their unacceptable and repulsive behaviours.

I feel for autistic people who have to live and manage this highly complex and often distressing condition when they read about these oxygen thieves who just belittle and ridicule the diagnosis which they have no doubt bought or acquired after an online assessment from pop up "clinics".
That’s the difference between men and women. In my general experience men/boys are allowed to use disabilities such as autism as an excuse for poor behaviour. Women however aren’t given such privileges.

I’m autistic too and whilst it causes me massive issues it also makes me, me and I hope your daughter can get to a place where she isn’t ashamed of it as that makes me sad.

Gregg Wallace, 58, says his age 'could be' reason for son Sid's autism | Metro News

Interestingly he hadn't yet had need to use his young son's diagnosis to benefit his own ends here..Nor had he thought of being on the spectrum himself...

Funny that.. Age not genetics suggested.
Autism is generally considered to be genetic….lots of parents get diagnosed after/when their children do. Why is so ashamed of something that he happily uses as an excuse for being an a?!

My Adult DD has Autism .. we went out for lunch yesterday. Talked about Gregg, and I reminded her that her ASD is not an excuse for harassing men… we did laugh.

Thank you for your empathy. My daughter has crippling social anxiety and co-morbidities so her life is very restrictive and challenging. As her carer it always enrages me when I see autism flaunted as either an excuse or a "weapon".

Gregg at home must be very coercive and very good at gaslighting, he's got a very young wife and her parents living with him and basically pandering to his every whim, it's the wife I feel sorry for because she has to sleep with the creep, imagine that looming over you and pawing at you, it seriously makes my skin crawl

There must be something in it for her to want to carry on living with him? Staying together to maintain continuity for Sid? She likes the connection to celebrity/notoriety? Money?

In general though that’s the difference between men and women. Men get away with a lot more than women ever do. Add any disability, condition or slight different and hightens this. A woman acting like Greg wouldn’t have had the career he had for so long

Not necessarily. It can be incredibly difficult to leave a relationship, and that’s when you’ve even managed to realise that it’s one that should leave.
