Beth is my favourite too. I think she's been judged harshly for her designs being a bit 'safe'. But the execution is always exquisite.

Rebecca was a boring b
It was the way all the way through the challenges she'd say things like 'this is going really well' 'this is looking really good' 'I think the judges will really appreciate the technique'. It was so smug.
And sorry the mention at the end of 'I was sewing in constant pain'.
Like her I assumed Ruth was out so it was a big and pleasant surprise.
Beth is my favourite although I like all four who are left. Beth's dress tonight was exquisite, imo. Loved the fact that it included part of her mum's wedding dress.

Anna is so gifted but I wonder if the judge's praise for her designs isn't do her any favours right now. She knows they love extravagant outfits and it's maybe making her a bit sloppy? Maybe a bit over ambitious time wise because (imo) they've looked past detail in favour of the concept.
She gives Peppa Pig vibes in her personality. A bit insufferable. It’s clear she loves sewing and loves being good at something and being told she’s good at something. I don’t think there is malice in her, she’s just not my sort of personality. I wonder if she spent her childhood with lots of hobbies in lieu of a social life.
The way she dressed was dated and for a much older woman, weirdly though I loved her made to measure and would 100% buy it.
I thought Emma's back on her made to measure was a bigger issue than Rebecca's had. Usually they reward ambition as well.
Did Rebecca ever mention being autistic? Because I've been getting that vibe throughout but the fixation on being right about the deerstalker, while irritating to watch, was quite relatable to me.
I feel like Anna's aesthetic pulled her through this episode where actually she probably should have been in consideration for leaving based on actual sewing.

Really shocked that Rebecca went. Not bothered by it at all as I found her insufferably smug, but Emma's M2M seemed to have bigger issues.

Did make me laugh a bit when Rebecca said she hoped this would show anyone with a disability they can do it: they had a woman with one hand on years ago love.
It may well have been the edit/production encouraging it, but the whole ‘disability’ speech just felt a bit forced/unnecessary.
Perhaps it’s a sign I’m getting too long in the tooth but it feels too many shows insist on disabled/lgbt/minorities being a *thing* rather than the individual just showcasing their talents & personalities instead.

Dawn from episode 1 was partially sighted, I haven't watched the episode yet but is it akin to Sam Smith declaring to be the first openly gay man to win an Oscar?
