Beth’s looked a bit untidy to me, I think because the chiffon seemed to be really creased? I did really like Heather’s design though and to me it looked better made than Anna’s

Beth is my winner, pre final, she's been consistent, great sewer and innovative, fun designs throughout. Anna will probably win as it's felt that way from the start, but I hope it's not a done deal!

I can't deal with stuff like that. It often boils down to snobbery about inexpensive clothes, disguised as environmental concern and something vaguely wellbeing-ish. I don't want to wear "timeless classics", as if such a thing really exists, in boring neutral colours, even though I don't have much money.
Yes quite often we're advised to 'invest' in some really good basics. All very laudable but it's usually things like a Brora cashmere jumper for about £500, some Grenson boots for a similar amount. Most people just don't have that outlay.
Quite often online I'll see a small business producing beautiful fair isle jumpers (for eg) and I think I'd like to support them - but they're about £600
I still find my best bits in charity shops. Often men's rails for jumpers, sleeveless tank tops etc and they're usually cheaper than the women's.
