I really enjoy history, but when Amber begins to talk I just zone out. Can’t think of a single thing she has said.
That's because she adds nothing that isn't stonkingly obvious. Along the lines of 'in medieval times people found their heads got wet when it rained. So they used a type of covering which we would come to call a 'hat'. And we still use hats to this day'.
I don't understand all this hatred for Amber, like Esme and Patrick she is an expert in her field and this is one of the reasons why I love the show.
Her flat in Margate is gorgeous - hyper stylised and maximalist but so is she 
Like others here I find her annoying! I've watched previous documentaries she's done & she's definitely qualified but imo an annoying presenter.

I like Amber and was pleased to see her again. Don't get the hate really, she's only on screen a couple of minutes.
I love amber. Her sections are the highlight of the show.
I don't dislike her, she just gets on my wick. Her constant headgear feels like she's trying to hard to cultivate a quirky image. If I saw her just once without it I guarantee she'd get on my wick less. I don't have to be a fan of everybody on the show to enjoy it, and I'm just not a fan of her.
Give me Lucy Worsely any day as a talking head. A little bit quirky but not distractingly so.

I think Esme shows blatant favouritism toward one contestant, who though very good, has recently continually overstretched herself and made quite bad errors.
They can't keep saying 'oh but she shows so much ambition' when she keeps failing to execute it half way decently.

I don't think any of the made to measures were really that good this week. Anna's looked more like a Transformation Challenge involving lampshades, Heather's didn't fit and didn't really fit the brief, Emma's fit a bit weirdly as well and the see-through bit of Beth's also didn't fit very well. I'd have worn her outfit though.

I think Patrick favours Beth's precision and attention to detail, Esme prefers Anna's imagination and ambition.

It was weird how they didn't comment on Emma's M2Ms actual sewing, just the fabric and the colour and how it looked. They didn't seem to get up close to it at all. I thought it looked baggy under the arm
