I'm quite a newbie to Sewing Bee, and as someone who can't sew, I am in awe at EVERYTHING they do. I thought Sophie looked gorgeous in that dress, last night. Loved all the things they made, especially the toys.

I think Heather is a real underdog this year, sometimes I kinda forget she's even there but she just consistently does okay, she seems to actually know how to sew. Sometimes people like that will really come up at the end
No idea how Adele made it this far on the other hand, she seems to struggle with basic skills/techniques everyone else can do fine

I do feel bad for Adele because every week she says she knows how to do the technique or she’s done it before but it never goes to plan. I actually liked Minnie and the things she made/wore but I think it was her time. She wasn’t going to win compared to sewers like Anna and Beth
Rebecca will be hobbling onto set with aBeth was my favourite in this episode. Her or Anna to win (it'll be Anna). I did laugh after the discussion on here that the first thing in the episode was Rebecca saying she's not made clothes for children before
walking stick soon if her IG post is anything to go by.
I definitely thought Beth had garment of the week this week - ah well. Hers was great!
I really like that they use a variety of differently abled bodies as models - and don't even mention it. I never saw anyone on TV with my disability when I was younger.

She also stole the name the treblemakers from the film Pitch Perfect. It's the name of the male acapella group. (shameful I know that!!)
I thought the Energy Girl outfit was better than the one that won. It looked a bit untidy and didn't fit that well.
I thought it was messy too. Patrick seemed most swayed by the name and concept, everyone bursting into song. I preferred the bee outfit.
I thought the bee costume would be garment of the week, no doubt.
I also loved Minnie's cat dress, any little girl would love to wear that and it was beautifully designed and created. Just needed a less subtle cat logo and perhaps some whiskers on the front to make it more costume than dress.

Agree, the cat dress was absolutely beautiful, shame it didn’t scream cat as I think it would have smashed it. I also thought the bee and the energy costumes were better than the winner
The cat dress was lovely, it just didn’t really hit the brief of superhero hard enough.
The bee outfit was definitely closer, but for me it was a bit too much a bee costume and not superhero .

Yeah I agree. I just find sometimes the judges overlook sewing issues in favour of hitting the brief more.
Yes the waistband of the skirt was I’ll fitting but the concept was fun as was the name Treblemaker. I had a look at Rebekah’s insta and have quite warmed to her now. She’s overcome a lot.
Which one is Rebecca? (I never really get a handle on who’s who).
She'd never made men's clothes before because she might not have mentioned it but she's a les.

I think she should have incorporated cat eyes, and like you say, maybe some whiskers.
