I can’t! Did she seriously go to McDonalds in France to see “how different” it is ?!? 🙄🥲🥲
Don’t see a problem with this though 🤣 I’ve been to loads of different countries and do this tbf because it’s amazing to see the differences! Why not 🤷🏼‍♀️😂

Agreed tbf, the whole thing about maccies is that the menu is totally different in every country depending on what they like to eat in general. Where I live you can actually buy a McPint of beer, it’s bleeping great 🤣

So? If she went to China and went to McDonald’s to see he different it was nobody would mention it. You don’t have to like every choice she makes. 🤷🏽‍♀️

i dont know if I would do it on a citytrip but I have been to McDonald´s on holiday before, not a big deal! Sometimes just for some iceacream but sometimes to get something fast to eat because youre busy and dont want to sit down to eat lunch or something or to grab a snack.

I do think Grace is becoming a typical youtuber...

I just find Grace really unrelatable now, spending so much money on endless 'stuff', always away on holiday somewhere, begging for freebies like all other influencers.... I get the impression she's not feeling YT anymore and will probably end up settling down with this bf, getting married etc. and quitting social media/youtube.
Maybe but how would she earn her money she seems lazy to me and I don't think she'd cope with a normal job.

Realised the reason I don’t like her is mainly cos she has a massive Tory vibe, but in an Alfie Deyes way where she’d deny it

I don't think she's politically engaged whatsoever but I definitely don't see her dad as a Tory and he'd probably tell her not to vote Tories. Maybe I'm reading wrong vibes from him though (I know he's on very high wages as a head teacher now if you look him up..£118,370!! So I guess wealth could change things)

I'm not from the UK but as far as I know there isn't a big religious element to any of the major parties like there is in the US, so their religion wouldn't make them choose one over another.

She would be amazing at that. I hope she doesn’t just go down the house wife road, she has so much talent and is still young, she could do so much before settling down
Sadly I think this is what she’ll do, she’s expressed no interest in using her degree at all, which is a huge shame because i remember her winning awards and being interested in product development. now she never even bakes anything skilful for fun. Now she has this boyfriend and things must be serious since she’s abroad with him (that is serious for Christians. And it looks like she’s at his relatives house), she’s most likely just going to go down the tradwife route and remain incredibly sheltered. I know that is a normal trajectory for women from Grace’s church but it’s even worse for her imo. Her sister got married relatively young, but she’s a teacher so is living in the real world and interacting with people daily. Grace doesn’t even have any interaction with anyone outside of her little bubble. I really wish she’d get a job or even start a little business. Honestly it would be more interesting to follow than the copious haul and food trying videos.

She has said before she wants a big house with like 7 kids so yeah..I can definitely see her becoming a housewife.

She used to be a lot more creative, now she mainly tests products and idk, she's become like any other generic influencer? I agree she's in a bubble though, it's become more and more obvious now that she's out of uni. I've said for a while that I'd love to see her own her own business but tbh now I'm not sure she has the will for it. I think a lot of big Grackle fans are losing interest with the same types of videos, that's probably why this thread is turning the other way.

I already said this a while ago, but I think she wants to settle down asap. Before she started dating her bf, she already said many times she can't wait to get pregnant. So...
Why are people surprised?

I mean just because you want to be a housewife/have tons of children doesn’t mean you have to stay sheltered and never experience anything new? She’s got an amazing bubbly personality, the time and the money to do things other people can only dream of doing yet she just goes to maccas in France? (Which I would too but that’s not the point🤣) Settling down does not equal being the most boring version of yourself you can be imo

It’s definitely the bf from the hugging photo months back, if you look at the shoes back then and now from the IG vlog where they enter a shop. I have a suspicion of who the person is but it’s far fetched

She’s so out of touch. She used to be relatable in lockdown, wasn’t splurging on mad tit, was realistic and fun. She used to do those well informative videos as well which obviously took a lot of research, about special diets and rations, etc. Think the easy YouTube dolla just got to her head, and she’s taking lazy way out. It’s mad to think she’s nearly 25 and acting like a teen still..

What I miss the most is she had her own style, the way she dressed wasn’t influenced by trends and she seemed so authentic. Now she wears all the expensive fast fashion bits literally every other influencer dictates.

People figured out who it was and she deleted comments and I think he even unfollowed her on IG so he couldn't be found again.

I saw who it was but I'm going to respect her privacy and it's not very exciting anyway.. it's not anyone we would have seen before. He is Christian and he did go to Durham though.

It’s so weird how being a homemaker is vilified, like the woman has a lobotomy and is chained to the kitchen sink in a subservient role.

Not going to lie, I wish I’d gone down the homemaker route at Grace’s age rather than chasing down a career and leaving pregnancy to my early 30s. I’ve been to more places and developed more meaningful friendships and hobbies since becoming a mum with a basic part time job than I ever did in my ultra competitive “professional” job (which was just a ball of stress that I resented).

I don't think anyone is trying to vilify being a housewife but the fact is that Grace is very young to be settling down and would be moving straight out of her parent's house into a house she shares with her partner and then her children when the time comes. She hasn't really had the chance to live on her own, travel or build a career so it just seems a shame but ultimately it is her life and her choice !

I don't want to speak for your experience but you might not feel the same way if you hadn't experienced the professional career and had gone straight into life as a homemaker in your early 20s... plus the ultra competitive job will have given you many skills and a network which probably have helped you in your life now, I think for young women especially the financial independence and experiences granted by having a career are not to be overlooked, and being able to later show your children that women can have successful working lives too : )

Omg literally. I’m 25 and have been with my partner for 7 years, we are very settled together and I really want us to have a family but I’m still at uni and will be for the next 2 years 💀💀 I really love my degree but I’ve not even started my career, and am no where near being able to have kids yet

i don’t disagree, and I do have the benefit of hindsight. If that’s what a woman wants to do then that’s great. I just sometimes think we are conditioned to pursue careers and material things from childhood (or it’s a “waste” or “lazy”) and, really, it’s not always the craic you’re led to believe. You get literally invested and it’s also difficult to break the chain and social status you’ve gained. Your ability and intelligence and opportunity for mixing and networking is still the same whether you hunt down a career or create and develop a stable family unit.

I don’t think Grace is particularly young either. Maybe by today’s standards, but certainly not biologically or historically. Opportunities to experience and do things come at all stages of life too, but becoming pregnant is one of the very few things that does have a time limit.
