It does my head in when people have to mention being a mum at every given opportunity, it doesn’t make you better than anyone else and unless you’re breastfeeding it doesn’t mean that you need different clothes!
I've been thinking the same, except the clothes because I get that.

But I feel like she relates everything to being a mum like having a pile of washing or the house being a mess. The need for lazy days.

And being a mum definitely means less time for housework etc but old vlogs will show you her house looked like that anyway.

Lol Jesus herself has tweeted that can’t understand why, post coma, she has soft feet (because she’s… not been using them) and no longer farts (eating better)

ORRRR does she understand, but wants to remind us that she no longer suffers with afflictions of common mortals

Am I the only one who has no sympathy and finds it incredibly stupid she’s tweeting about late fines from HMRC. Yes HMRC has a lot of issues and the way the government has helped is laughable. But she has an accountant who she’s said does it all for her, so am I just woefully ignorant in thinking that something should’ve been submitted anyway, even with her in a coma. And even as he didn’t surely a few letters explaining would at least reduce those unless there is something she’s not saying and there was a reason they should have all been submitted no issue.
Family friends got Covid, one of them passed (RIP) his partner and son were ok after a long time in hospital. They had their own business and his partner was the accountant family filed for an extension on tax and end of year accounts as she was in hospital and got it no issues. Long story short it just feels like the coma is just her excuse for anything that goes wrong - it was horrific and traumatic no doubt, but 100s of 1000s of people went through similar and they didn’t have savings and accountants and family who just stopped working to take care of you.

Tbh I can’t imagine they won’t reverse any fines once she shows that she was in a coma & residential rehab hospital for 6 odd months. HRMC aren’t brands they’re not gonna move faster cos you tweeted tho!

She’s not thick, you can critique capitalism whilst also participating in it as we all have to in order to survive.
Granted she could find another career, but even socialists participate in a capitalist system to survive
It’s like when people critique socialists for having iPhones or androids well yes but they have to have a phone to survive etc

I think the problem is more Grace has no awareness she’s part of the problem. She’s never really outspoken on anything unless it’s directly impacting her negatively. Covid wasn’t a big issue for her as far as I remember she wasn’t a big mask wearer or really outspoken about how many people were slowly being drained and fucked over, unless she wanted to do something and couldn't. At the end of the day no matter what you think everyone has to participate in capitalism unless you go totally off grid in every way. But grace cannot seem to fathom pushing endless consumption is a massive part of the problem. And then when she does address a problem she always centres it to her life is so much worse or that “because of who she is” “how hard she fights” “how hard she works” she’s in an ok situation. Like people who are living below the Poverty line are there because they don’t work hard enough, those who died didn’t fight hard enough. And furthermore when there are negative consequences it’s straight to Twitter to complain “don’t they know who I am and what I went through” gimme gimme gimme

Of course socialists, communists and other more leftist parties (I don't think you have them in Britain), can participate in a capitalist country. It's called democracy and it's what we have in mainland Europe at different levels of politics (local to national).
But Grace just seems totally vain, materialistic and unbothered, especially when it's not about herself. Social awareness, sharing and helping others, ecology sense? What is socialist about her ?😂 Although I understand her in the present situation obviously, those taxes she is reluctant to pay (not very socialist again) are essential so people can continue to have "free" health (I know it's not the good term) and social services, especially those people who are more in need.

This tit pisses me off soooooo much. What is she ‘capable of’, exactly? It’s the medicine that saved you - so disingenuous to those it didn’t!

Ok unpopular opinion as it seems. But others got the same medicine and other kinds of help from health workers and didn’t survive. I mean that’s a philosophical question now about maybe fate or a psychological question about who maybe has a stronger will to survive, or a more fighting personality. Or there isn’t any reason at all. Fact is, G survived, other people with the same chances didn’t. In that, I agree with her.

What an absolutely pathetic thing to say. So insulting to those who died. Rest assured, a vast majority of those people would have had just as strong of a will to live. The fact of the matter is that as much as all NHS staff do their absolute best to help those in their care, some hospitals are better staffed, resourced and equipped than others. Add to that the fact that 90% of drugs only work on 30-50% of people. Massive pharmaceutical companies admit it and it’s common knowledge. Therefore, grace was VERY lucky to survive, and she played absolutely no role in it. I’d go as far as to say that her recklessness in the run up to her hospitalisation only served to her detriment.

That’s not the question at all? There are various factors in this situation, age and physical health being the most obvious. She was unconscious, her peppy ‘can do’ attitude had nothing to do with her survival.

wow she never fails to get a humblebrag/pick me comment in does she - "Due to how hard I worked in 2020".. Grace, I can guarantee its nowhere near the level of hard work those that saved your life have put in the past year or so, and in a lot of cases for a lot less money and challenging conditions..
