I can’t see her living here long, either. She’s gone from a home that she renovated to have exactly to her preferences, with a garden that gets sun, its own gym, a walk in wardrobe, etc., to a much smaller apartment/duplex. She’s not going to like ‘downsizing’.
Can’t actually believe that a woman of her age has bought and renovated a house in London and is now staying (not sure if she rents or has purchased) in an incredibly £££ apartment/duplex to live on her own. Also confused by whether she genuinely does have a ‘garden’ (as per her stories), or whether she’s referring to a terrace where her dog is going to go to the toilet

It looks like student halls. Personally I don't get why a young person would buy a huge house, soend an insane amount renovating it and then live elsewhere. She should have just bought a nice flat

I think it’s very telling that they didn’t appear to have any kind of party/send off before they all moved out considering they lived together for nearly 2 years. They made out like they were super close house mates before, now it's like she unceremoniously packed up her tit and left lol. Of course it's possible that they did something together and just didn't post about it, but we know by now that she always posts on her story when she hangs out with whoever her friends are of the moment (speaking of which, where is her bestie Montana these days?! rip).
On another note, wonder what she'll do with poor Ziggy now that she doesn't have any live-in dog sitters. I'm guessing she'll do a mix of dragging him to the office ever day or dropping him off at her old place with her family for days on end.

yeh exactly, like for pre-drinks or drinks etc- sirely that is the point? you don't have a huge house like that with so much space and then not use it to socialise surely?, I get the impression that she basically only let them stay in the kitchen/that filthy garden or their own rooms
Apparently Nigel Broackes went to Stowe as well as a private primary school, so you can assume the money goes further back than him (apparently it came from his grandfather rather than his parents). His wiki says that his parents faced financial hardship and lived in 'straitened' circumstances which was interesting, especially given that when the grandfather died, he left Nigel enough money that he could benefit from expensive private schooling for several years. There is a clip on YouTube where he is interviewed and you can definitely hear the private boarding school accent. I wonder where his grandfather got that money.
to me it seems cold to allow your son and his wife to live on apparently little money but leave all that cash for your grandkid to go to an expensive school. idk. what happened there? this is obvs all if the wiki is accurate.
When I first heard Nigel Broackes was a successful businessperson, I assumed his wealth had mostly come from that and that perhaps he had a regular (and maybe just above averagely privileged) middle class childhood. I didn't think that he'd already been exposed to opportunities like the ones he would have had at Stowe. The more you read, the more you clock that Grace is the product of generations-long access to the same institutional connections and wealth enjoyed by the most privileged people in this country, which makes it even more insulting that she is celebrated as self-made. I think a lot of entertainment/media figure jobs are filled with people like this. it's sad that it's almost always the already-wealthy that get these 'jobs' where they basically get paid to piss about, and particularly that they receive a lot of admiration from the public for it. Like I think about all these kids from lower-income backgrounds wanting to be influencers and then deep how thick the glass ceiling is. Essay over lol

That’s what she’s said on her stories yes, although the housemates are still in the house currently. She said she’s moved out bc she wanted to experience the single girlboss London lifestyle. So has bought herself a duplex in the Battersea Power Station development to live in alone, as we all do during cost of living crises.
With that in mind, I have to agree with Brooke ^^…. I hardly think she would have struggled to pay the mortgage on the house living there alone, not least bc she wouldn’t have gotten the mortgage on this flat. Also one would hope she isn’t charging her family much, if anything, to live in her house?! Mind you, this is Grezos.
