Sorry grez but (IMHO) this photo does not sell it as a must have amazing item! The model looks like she regrets signing up for this shoot and really just does not look impressed one bit

I'm also shamed to admit that I once bought into her 'sustainable' fashion and got a top like this. It does indeed snatch... It snatched the breathe out of my lungs and the skin off my body; I would like to think of myself as a size small in most fitness wear and so that is what I ordered. However, this top wasn't just tight it was soul suckingly tight, the material was too thick to be considered appropriate for working out and the zip dug into my neck like a bitch.

Let's just say I have never, ever worn it.

Same... I consider myself a comfortable medium and those tala leggings felt like an XS. They were stretchy-ish but nowhere near stretchy enough to fit comfortably, or that I would EVER think of actually working out in them. Don’t brand yourself as a fitness wear brand if you’re gonna put aesthetic aka “this is so flattering” over functionality!

Yep, lots of people noticed that the laptops were never seen again... they seem to think their followers are stupid.

I can maybe understand some of the smaller scale studytubers getting sucked into doing the advert - when you're a growing channel and the big sponsorships start coming in I can understand it's sometimes hard to turn it down. But Grace is a multimillionaire, and I think once you're at that level of wealth you've got no excuses to still be doing insincere adverts or adverts for dodgy companies for a quick buck. Getting paid a few thousand pounds to lie about a product you've never used when you're a millionaire is just greed in my opinion.

edit: also, just thinking about this more, how fucked up is it that Dell are sending these products to influencers who already own multiple computers at a time when there's so many pupils/students out there desperate for a functioning laptop to be able to do online work properly? she was so high and mighty about asking food companies to donate to food banks if they send her gifted food, but I doubt she told Dell to ensure they gave one of their computers to someone who actually needs it. she certainly doesn't need a third computer in her life, maybe she should donate it to someone who actually needs it.

You don't need pictures of grace shopping to see that she clearly overconsumes luxury clothing. She has a totally new outfit in every single grid post.

She talked about restyling and reusing luxury pieces as much as possible a couple of years ago which i can really get behind tbh (obviously a question of privilidge, but if youre lucky enough to be able to afford clothes/bags of higher quality then i think its better to buy one item that will last for years than replacing your whole wardrobe for every season) but it seems like that went completely out of the window as soon as she had the budget to use luxury stores the way the rest of the world uses asos/plt. Seems like another case of classic capitalist mindset: if its expensive/luxury and I can afford it due to my income, it's my god given right as a boss babe to own it and if you disagree then you're just jealous and poor.

Honestly I think so many influencers including grace aren't actually into fashion, they just like the feeling of being able to buy expensive status symbols. If I had her kind of budget (not to mention her figure) and lived in London I'd be repping the shit out of all of the amazing indie fashion houses operating out of my city. I find most of her choices dull at best and garish at worse, I can see why she only wears everything once - it's just all so uninteresting.

A girl I was at school with recently founded her own start-up, it's this clothing alterations company but unlike Grez's 'disruptive' Tala which is just yet another not particularly high quality active wear brand that isn't even that sustainable, this company is really unique and is actually encouraging people to be sustainable by reusing and altering their existing wardrobes and buying second hand. It's also way more of an achievement for her to have got this company up and running because unlike Grace she didn't automatically start out with a million insta followers who would instantly go out and buy her product as soon as it launched. She started with zero following, and all of the social media following and press write-ups her brand has gained since then have been through her own hard work and having a great concept. She is what I would consider to be a real 'entrepreneur' unlike grez, who is - and always will be - just an influencer who happened to launch a couple of brands.

Anyway, this girl posted on her insta stories today about how she had bought Grace's book and was starting to read it now, and how she can't wait to read this amazing book and all the productivity steps. And tagging Grace's insta in all the stories. It was clear she was doing it for clout, in the hope that Grace would repost her stories. Like someone mentioned above, it seems like a lot of girls have been insta storying the book so that Grace will notice them or repost their story. I just found it sad that this girl seemed to think she needed Grace to notice/approve of her, when in fact she is SO much more talented of an entrepreneur than Grace could ever be. Why does she feel the need to suck up to her?! She's better than that!

Her YouTube has been the source of her getting caught out before, so for instance:

1. She used to recommend heavy lifting for muscle growth all the time on YouTube. She can't play dumb about the importance of using heavy weights if these videos are available
2. She used to complain about how small influencers were treated by big companies (this is what made her look especially bad after exploiting her content creators)
3. She posted a weird Instagram story talking about how she'd never had a printer before, but in one of her uni room decoration vlogs she literally points at a printer in her room
4. (edited add-on) You could see how long-lived her partnership with Bulk Powders was on her channel & her Twitter (which she also deleted). But then she posted a video talking about how crap non-Shreddy vegan protein powders were, basically exposing herself

I get that she might have wanted to delete it for other reasons too, but these are some classic examples of how she's been caught out before

Just to add another - she used to call BCAAs a marketing ploy that especially preys on women and then she came out with Shreddy BCAAs.

The YouTube video where she announced that product was the same as the protein powder one and the comment section was a mess for her - rightfully calling her out on her BS.

I'm guessing none of the companies that messaged her offered it for free - she wanted the project started ASAP yet nothing has happened. With all the money she has, she could have the most beautiful little garden full of natural plants and other greenery and she wouldn't have to lift a finger to maintain it because she could hire a gardener. But instead she wants a featureless decked garden that's going to go out of style in a few years. Having a garden in London is such a rarity that I think I'd want to take advantage of creating some green space for myself rather than make it look like a pub garden!
