I noticed that oneit was still on 52-ishK this morning when I checked and so had a look and found this donation from today! I wonder if that’s the person she’s thanked in her stories for his ‘time’.

I think they need their own thread these pair of mats. They’ve smashed the 100k…will they raise the limit again or not? Let’s watch this space…
I am wondering about the sophiekitchx , they seem to be posting the go fund me link most days.
My heart breaks for their situation (baby has AML and they lost their first son the previous year I think it was)
But he seems to have responded well to the treatment with nhs. They keep moving the goalposts with the amount to raise too.
Current is £82,249 raised of £100,000 goal..
I wonder if she’s spending the go fund me on matching pyjamas they had a new pair every other day at Xmas!I am wondering about the sophiekitchx , they seem to be posting the go fund me link most days.

They already seem like they are ok for money, and the distance between ware and GOSH is an hour and a half. Some people have to travel from wales etc for treatment and much further.I am wondering about the sophiekitchx , they seem to be posting the go fund me link most days.

Only two people. They're blaming him in the comments. Interesting how different the response is actually. Probably because he's a bloke.I wouldn't say this is a GoFundMe Scam, but it is yet another idiot who hasn't read his travel insurance properly, and who is now reliant on the Bank of GoFundMe to bail him out of his stupidity.
- has an annual travel insurance policy but didn't read the part where no single trip during the year can be longer than 30/45/60 days whatever (in his case seems to be 30 days)
- many travel insurance policies won't cover scooter or motorbike riding at all
Of course, the GoFundMe page doesn't mention that they didn't adhere to the conditions of the travel insurance, so there is an element of scam there to not be up-front about their idiocy.
I like how commenters on the story are saying "name and shame the insurance company!!! they'll soon change their mind!!!" ... errr they did. the article, and the BBC story it's based on, both literally have a quote from Lloyds Bank right there in it.
Yes I am pretty sure they either trawl GoFundMe itself, or forums like this that link to it!Do MailOnline just go trawling gofundme for news stories? Or do people contact them. The amount I’m seeing lately I think they must trawl gofundme as often they are just writing the article based from social media updates.
This is obviously devastating but it’s yet another holiday with no insurance fundraiser. Over £100k raised.
EXCLUSIVE: British boy, 8, left brain-dead with leukaemia in Barbados
The fundraiser for this says its to cover accommodation costs for the parents, so they can be close to their baby. I get that, you'd wanna be with your baby 24/7 if they were sick. My issue though is, why have they set the target to £100,000. It doesn't cost that much to stay in a hotel. It's just greed, an im sick of people using their poorly children for money. Seems to be the common thing now, a kid gets diagnosed an instead of worrying about them, they just see pound signs. Sickening.I am wondering about the sophiekitchx , they seem to be posting the go fund me link most days.

she always looks dressed up and polished. If I was living in hospital with my poorly baby I’d be looking like I’d been dragged through a hedgeThe fundraiser for this says its to cover accommodation costs for the parents, so they can be close to their baby. Heartbreaking situation to be in but GOSH do have parent accommodation for the second parent that can’t stay on ward- it isn’t guaranteed to always be available but I’m guessing they’d be offered it some of the time. But they don’t live that far from the hospital, so it’s possible that might go to families that aren’t within commuting distance?I am wondering about the sophiekitchx , they seem to be posting the go fund me link most days.

100k seems like an awful lot of money for hotels, and one thing I wonder about is why the go fund me is written as if it’s set up by friends but it says Sophie is the organiser and her husband the beneficiary?
Id be saving every penny what if the baby needs private treatment?Their hotel bill would probably be cheaper if they weren’t staying in spa hotels or luxury hotels half the time. The cheapest room in the hotel she had on her story today is £259 a night. They don’t have to slum it in a hostel but they definitely aren’t trying to save money. I feel for them that their baby is so unwell, but from Insta they look like they’re on a fun weekend away half the time.
