I really don’t understand this all genders can have periods concept and *surprise* I got called transphobic from some old friends I don’t want to be associated with anymore

•Only biological women can have periods, if we can’t call people born with XX chromosomes women anymore then what are they? Do the doctors lie in the hospital when they say you have a baby girl because we must wait until they can identify themselves?
•Only a small number of trans men have periods since those who start hormones tend to loose it within just a few months, so do we have to have to completely change our language and rewrite biology books for the very small population of men that are transgender, cannot stand to be reminded that they were born a woman and haven’t had the hormones kick in fully? (And I expect most if not all transmen will take hormones if they expect to pass in society)
•And with the amount of hate JK Rowling got with all those unnecessary tweets, I think there’s a lot more important issues in the world right now and there’s a lot more important issues regarding transphobia that needs to be tackled, with the trans suicide rate so high (which I highly doubt is caused by someone calling people who menstruate a woman) and I don’t think telling someone to shut the fuck up is the solution as all that does is infringes on their right to free speech and to an opinion instead of respectfully and openly discussing it
Even "XX chromosomes" is no longer safe. r/TwoXChromsomes has been invaded by them on Reddit. There is nothing just for us.
They literally want to call us "people with uteruses," "people who menstruate," even the awful "bleeders."
Doctors at birth are apparently terrible because that's only the "sex assigned at birth," and not biological sex.

Men who identify as women get so utterly offended when women talk about periods because they can't have them, that we're made to "shut the fuck up" about them. Even the female symbol is offensive to them so they got Always to take them off their products https://edition.cnn.com/2019/10/22/...removed-transgender-nonbinary-trnd/index.html
(I now refuse to buy from them)

By continuously telling women to shut the fuck up in such extremely violent ways, they are saying they are more important than us.

Don’t use feminism to hide behind your transphobia when you’re actively excluded a group of women. Please provide proof of a Lib Dem MP calling for the removal of all biological from Parliament. Terfs are clutching at straws, really trying to scaremonger and pretend our womanhood is being erased. It’s dangerous and a lie
Why can’t people just discus there views, without being called transphobic?!

throwing that word out left right and center. Feels to me as if people are pushed into submission by shouting your a bully.

and in my eyes, you kinda loose your point.

Its a discussion and people will have different opinions and point of views. Due to upbringing and experience.
Even for me it’s hard to wrap my mind around it sometimes.

i just would like to keep my own identity as a woman. And transpeople come in so many shapes and forms nowadays. I’d love to say a trans woman is as much a woman as a cwoman.
But due to the (lack for better word) subcategories in trans atm. It’s hard to see where the line can be drawn.

In my opinion it also always seems to be the mtf that shout the loudest. I do not hear ftm say to much.

I can't believe we are at a point in time where we are reduced to "womxn", "menstruators", "front holes", "everybody with a cervix" etc.
But men are getting no impact from it. It is so clearly hate against REAL WOMEN.
Because the current trend of woke females are so desperate to be seen as inclusive, accepting, fashionable, to have a cause, to be just like the celebrities whose opinions are the only ones their tiny brains can absorb are happy and willing to send their identity along with ours out to sea. Just to be fashionable. I am a woman (not a cis woman) a woman. I have periods because I have a female anatomy, I don’t have a ‘front hole’ I have a vagina because I am a female. I am a woman with a cervix because only women can have them.

To the poster that wondered why we're not on Twitter, I thought you might like to know that its come to light that some peoples employers have been contacted by activists in an effort to doxx them. That's right, let that sink in. Women are being harassed for daring to speak up. This is truly frightening

Some activists are trying to destroy womens lives. I really am scared for the future of society

Just leaving this here

I definitely find as I'm getting older (closer to 30) I'm getting more conservative in my views, especially when it comes to this stuff. Perhaps when I was younger I would have been more open to it but I've seen what women have gone through and it feels like people take the piss now.

I hate all this "there's no gender/sex" bullshit.
And the trans women playing in women's sports, etc.
It feels like coddling at this point.

A trans women cannot put on a dress, wig and makeup and claim they are a women ffs. They can’t just have the nice side of being a female and skip out the difficult parts such as child birth, periods, menopause etc. There is more to being a women/ female than just looking like one !!!! I’m sick of this debate.

Some things are on a spectrum. Thankfully age is not one of them.

Right.

but thanks to the ‘spectrum’ the 40year old man ‘identifying as a woman’ in the first example may not be able to change in primary school changing rooms but he CAN change in communal swimming pool, gym etc facilities where the 7 year old girl is present, naked and very vulnerable.

Evanna Lynch got called a terf and she came out a disagreed with JKR’s comments. Apparently she didn’t disagree enough and has now deleted her twitter account.

Terf Isn’t just used to call out transphobia it’s a term used to shut down anyone who doesn’t think exactly how the extreme activists think.

Wow, just wow. In my opinion the minute people resort to foul language to try and force their views on others and destroy any rational discussion they've automatically lost the argument.
funny how a lot of those insults were choke on my d***? That's the type of abuse women get from aggressive men they reject/annoy/frustrate etc.. some of those replies were from Trans women- now please note not all, but those trans women are disgusting and are reacting the way a man would to a woman upsetting him. Ironic. If you're a trans women who doesn't react like that I love you.

Saw this shared online. Lol. Fuck off.

The world has actually gone mad.
I haven't commented on here before... But seriously ☹ it took years and years of begging doctors to take me seriously before I was diagnosed with endo. Endless nights in A&E being told "it's just women's problems", multiple miscarriages and months in pain 😢 it's managed now and I had rainbow twins this year, but seriously? I find this quite upsetting, I don't wish to offend anyone but this isn't a "people" issue. It's a women's issue that ruined my life for decades.

I dedicated 2 years of my life to breastfeeding my children when they were babies. Fuck am I gonna start calling it ‘chest feeding’ now, what a load of nonsense.

I BREASTFED my children, using my BREASTS. If anyone finds that offensive then stay the fuck away from me because I am well and truly over it.

Absolutely love her. What she’s said isn’t even that bad. Just goes to show anything can label you a transphobe even if it’s factually correct.

I posted in this few days ago, that a “friend” shared our private conversation on Instagram in her stories calling me transphobic.

she now made a post saying I’m transphobic and urging people who follow me to unfollow me and message me to say it’s not acceptable to be transphobic.

it has turned into cyber bullying at this point and slander I think.

I have been educating myself more and I have to thank people from here to, of both sides. It’s refreshing to be part of what seems to be a healthy conversation between both.

i have spoken to a few other transpeople to educate myself more. And funny enough they understand what I said and recommended a few YouTube videos and such. And I think that is how you should be, you don’t win an argument when you end up bullying someone.

I’m hurt by it all, especially because a few people who unfollowed me, I saw as really good friends and they didn’t even check with me what the story is. I’m sorry I just needed to vent a bit.

I think a lot of the men jumping on board the JKR abuse train is because it's a chance to get woke points and make a woman the oppresor for once.
I think a lot of otherwise reasonable men secretly think that feminism has “gone too far now”, and secretly relish the chance to give women a bit of a kicking.

Sorry for double post but just want to add that 'women' is increasingly becoming a dirty word. Trans activists often want 'womxn' to replace it.
I have never seen them call for the word 'men' to be replaced with 'mxn.'
