I saw this on Twitter earlier. Some treatments can weaken your bones to the point of fatality... Why would you do that to your body?! This is exactly why impressionable teens should not be allowed onto such medical pathways so easily!

I'm horrified at how dangerous this sounds for the body!

Is this true?

I have no idea if this is true or not. However, it really struck me earlier that there seems to be a lot of back and forth about the potential side effects of these drugs. Some saying they will make you infertile, others deny that. Some saying it makes an individual unable to orgasm, others saying that's not true. To me, the fact that experts cannot agree on the side effects in court means these things should be NOWHERE near children. If a fully competent adult wants to take that risk for themselves, I don't understand it, but that's up to them. How the hell can a child be expected to consent to that?!

First, they’re saying hormones are completely safe with hardly any side effects and if you stop taking them everything goes back to normal, then they’re saying they can’t ever not take hormones because their bones will turn to dust. There is just no consistency with this ideology, the narrative changes based on what the question is and what their motive is. In this case it’s clearly trying to scare people into believing their cross sex hormones are life saving drugs.

How can anyone watch that and not think that’s the aggressor. So violent about women wanting exclusivity to being... women. 😔
it's not enough for them to be trans woman - honorary woman, the way some talk they use terms like female and real woman.

I saw quite a few people had reported him to the GMC for his threats to Louise Moody, hope they’ve told him to sling his twitter hook finally

I’m personally not a big fan of drag, I find it rather misogynistic, but each to their own. However, it’s adult entertainment surely? It’s very sexual, raunchy, “bitchy”. When did it become appropriate for children to be exposed to that? For drag to be the pinnacle of gay culture?

These are basically my thoughts. I’ve always seen it as adult entertainment, certainly not for kids. Dressing up is for kids, drag is not imo.

Some parents really don’t know where to draw the line with what they expose their children to. Your boy wants to play around with dresses and make up? Great! Let him, It’s just play. It doesn’t need to be given a label. It almost feels like they are exploiting him by trying to get his ‘drag persona’ out there. That segment had nothing to do with showing how we should allow children to be who they want to be and everything to do with the parents wanting to make their kid famous and getting progressive pats on the back. You can bet he has his own social media page and the followers will have rocketed. What if this boy grows out of wanting to be a drag queen? Will he feel comfortable in doing so should he want to after making his parents so ‘proud’?

On a side note but what’s going on with Desmond is Amazing these days? Is he still being exploited?

Good riddance Baby Shipman! However I give him three days before he’s back from his flounce. Unless of course him saying “by whatever means necessary’ got him a warning from work...

I'm all for dressing up but I don't think there's any need for a child to be in full drag. Definitely not performing. Definitely not performing with adults throwing money at them. It's so bloody inappropriate. I think some of the mothers of these drag queen kids are just stage mothers. The drag queen kids are all fun, sparkle and glitter. These mothers can celebrate their ''fabulous'' sons and show the world what amazing, supportive and "iconic"mothers they are, getting worshipped by gay men whose mother's never accepted them, but I wonder how many of them would retch at the idea of a lesbian daughter? 🤔

There's a pattern that has always been evident to me though - drag queens have the spotlight when it comes to drag (whereas drag kings are in the background, hardly ever spoken of out with specific drag communities, there's even bio-queens over drag kings 🙄) and trans women have the spotlight when it comes to trans issues, while trans men are an afterthought, if that. I also feel that's a similar dynamic with gay men and lesbians.

State of this. What a thick gobshite! 🤣

When the number of your tweets vastly exceed the number of your followers, you’re just another indistinct voice in the cacophany screaming nonsense into the abyss in the hopes someone takes notice.

Unravelling her tweets regarding “nonmonogamous” relationships and not wanting to be treated like a “cum dumpster”, I’m guessing that language aside, they/them have a stereotypical Bridget Jones style messy private life. Being non binary I assume adds some sort of importance to an altogether common if not pedestrian life experience.

Also, I wouldn’t mind knowing where she got her professional certifcation as being a “sexologist”. Are we making up titles now because if so, I’m a fully qualified Donutologist. My specialisms are both being an adult human female, and the bakery treat. I’m working on my Biscuitology PhD as we speak and I think my research is quite promising.
