Ah, what a surprise - a white man with BLM in his screen-name telling a Black woman that she doesn't understand intersectionality / feminism.

I saw this earlier today and it annoyed me a lot

This woman is a lawyer, I highly doubt that she will ever be forced into sex trafficking or survival prostitution and it is so easy to sit in her tower and talk philosophy. Also, a minimum wage job in a shop is ever so slightly less dangerous than 'sex work.'
The missing link here is that not all sex workers are Belle Du Jour or buying Chanel flap bags, the majority are probably earning less than minimum wage (with none of the protections whether that’s a pension or making sure you’re not murdered at the office) doing unspeakable things & putting themselves at incredible risk. Society needs to help both, we shouldn’t be taking women out of garment factories and into red light distracts wtaf

I hate this culture of lashing out at ticket staff, service staff, tannoy announcers etc for this sort of stuff. Trying to harrass and ruin careers and livelihood of people just doing their jobs. See also that non-binary male singer las month harassing a muslim nail artist who has a female-only policy, see also that butt-hurt person complaining to the train company because the tannoy said Ladies and Gentleman. Yes sometimes workers can be rude but for goodness sake, the lashing out is so disproportionate to the actual ‘mistake.’ What will happen is people will be so scared of ‘misgendering’ or realising they are not a mind reader (how can you guess a stranger is ‘non-binary’ rather than presenting as man or woman?) that we’ll just starting calling each other “you there” :( I can understand it upsets a minority but for goodness sake, we shouldn’t have anyone lashing out. These instances aren’t people deliberately and repeatedly using pronouns the person doesn’t want, these are interactions in public with strangers between a customer and workers, lasting seconds. We have automatic facial recognion /sex recognition skills from evolution, we also have lifetime of language use, when serving hundreds of people a day we are going to make ‘mistakes’ because the mental gymnastics to guess someone’s gender is a lot to compute whilst also you know, doing our jobs!!
These woke TRAs will bandy around the term "Karen" to their heart's content, meanwhile they are the experts at "speaking to the manager:" throwing hissy fits at service staff who accidentally misgender them, demanding companies bend over backwards and cater to their every whim, drop this artist or fire that employee. I don't like the term but they are the ultimates "Karens. "

Look at this entitled creep. Acrylic nails, a ponytail and a bra make you a woman apparently 🙄 my bet is he bought the wrong ticket, was caught out and decided to target the poor ticket man.

I just managed to have a tentatively GC coffee chat with a team member about misogyny and pronouns as we were moaning about a few things and it got onto that kind of topic. Refreshing to know I'm not the only one but now I'm slightly worried she'll tattle on me 🤣 I was very careful not to actually say anything specific that could be used against me and in any case I have stuff she's said about people so I think realistically we'll have each other's backs. I will be more careful in future though.

Crazy how scary it feels to even broach the subject with people you know though.

Trans women do nothing for feminism whatsoever. As some one said earlier too much male and ego.
So happy for Maya. I feel there has been a proper change recently. Can’t wait for Helen Joyce’s book

That's pretty accurate - I've copied/pasted it for you

THIS PERSON IS NOT A WOMAN.

I know - boobs, long hair, curves, makeup, my name, necklaces and earrings - subconsciously, our brains will tell us ‘that’s a woman right there!’

But some people are not women, regardless of how much we may look like one. I’m nonbinary or agender or just - not a woman. I am a person, a human. I’ll also take husband, daddy, comedian, legend. I am not a lady or a girl or even a ‘yasss girl’ or ‘yasss queen’. You can ‘yasss king’ me (unless you’re white, of course, because then it’s a bit gross.) and you can maybe say ‘power!’ instead of ‘girlpower!’

For me, my pronouns are whatever. She/they/he.

You cannot see, by looking at someone, what their gender is OR what their pronouns are.

Sometimes someone will be ‘female presenting’ (we don’t like this term) but be nonbinary or otherwise trans and their pronouns might be they/them.
Or someone could be ‘male presenting’ - big beard, flat chest, bald, dick hanging out - but that person could be a woman and her pronouns would be she/her.

Someone might look adrogynous - and you’ll want to ask ‘wait is that a man or a woman?’ OR you’ll want to assume that person is nonbinary - but perhaps, that person is genderfluid - and sometimes they’re a man and sometimes they’re a woman and sometimes they’re neither.

I get that it’s difficult to rewire your brain to understanding this. It feels impractical - ‘what, am I just meant to ask everyone I meet what gender they are?!’ and well, yes and no. Just as you’d ask someone their name when you meet them, you might want to ask their pronouns too - and tell them your pronouns aswell. And if you want to be on the safe side, don’t gender someone at all, if you don’t know.

Of course, you can do what you want. My internalised transphobia makes me feel guilty that I’m so ‘difficult’ and I often wish I was a woman, so I wouldn’t feel like my soul was sucked out through my nose everytime someone referred to me as one.
I like my chest and my hair and makeup and earrings - but I’ve considered changing my appearance, just so people might hesitate before gendering me. I wouldn’t be true to myself, but at least it would sting less when I was ‘yasss queen’ed.
Thank you 🙌 reading this in full just confirms what I thought. I also can't get my head round non-binary to be honest. She seems to loathe all things female so she's not non-binary, she wants to be a man?? I just don't get it.

Also, call her 'daddy'. I hate the sexualisation of this word! It makes me sick to my stomach.

ALSO! She says they don't like the term 'female presenting' but male presenting is ok?!

I rest my case. Im getting the rage lol time for some breakfast in the garden to chill out 😂

I’ve just read that, and all I see are the ramblings of a brainwashed woman with MH issues, desperately seeking attention. Does she still post endless selfies with her belly exposed? I feel sorry for her because she’s clearly deeply unhappy.

Speaking of brainwashed, I just saw this on Twitter and, although I was aware that it’s a cult, and vulnerable young people (mostly self-loathing females) are drawn in so easily, but just look how it plays out in the clip.

She only realised “a few days ago” that she’s trans. Instantly love bombed. ROGD in action.
"I dyed my hair last night so I could feel more masculine".... I didn't realise that blue hair was a "masculine" trait. Apprently this poor girl and her parents see it that way.

These are unhappy young people who will still be unhappy young people after the high of affirmation and acceptance is gone.

Funnily enough, men never needed language or the law to know which sex to r*pe, abuse, oppress, etc. People like them need to go outside and touch grass.

Ridiculous. My children don't have a father, I made sure to let their nursery know we are a mummy only family so they can make extra mum cards etc and not feel left out. I will explain when they're older of course, but like you said I wouldn't ever begrudge other people celebrating. Fathers and mothers deserve celebrations.

Most children have a mother & father or one of them, there's no need for this nonsense inclusivity 🙄
This. My dads dead, so I begrudge other people Father’s Day? Of bloody course not. Where would it end? Do we take the legs from able bodied folk to make amputees feel less isolated? It may sound like an extreme but that’s the reality, we aren’t all equal, we never will be and it’s so unhealthy to try and force it. It doesn’t mean we shouldn’t do what we can, but we are reaching dangerous limits. Uterus transplants for men!? Stop this world I want off. Fucking ridiculous anyway because he would essentially just be a surrogate anyway saying as it would never be his eggs.

My mum isn’t really up on the whole trans thing, but she texted me after watching ITV news about Hubbard and said “why are they letting a big man into the womens?”

The world is a very scary place at the moment and the “good guys” are not the ones telling you that they are.

I used to scoff at conspiracy theories about creating a single world nation, a handful of elites having all the control, money becoming obsolete etc but it seems like it’s playing out.

Your digital funding can be cut off if you don’t tow the line. Your ability to go places will be cut off if you don’t tow the line. Moves to blend all people into genderless, cultureless and raceless masses at the whim of corporations who know every tiny detail about you.

It’s incredibly dystopian.

BBC posting pro porn propaganda to their ‘BBC Family & Education’ news page for reasons I’m not sure about. Who ever put this article under this page has a sick mind imo.

Literally last week they were posting about children being exploited via only fans. Now it’s the best thing since sliced bread.

Sometimes I feel like the only person in the world not totally obsessed with sex, seriously what is the big deal??? I’m becoming increasingly more disgusted with it as time goes on, I could probably live without it. Get me off this fucking planet.

What I can't understand is where all the parents have come from who suddenly believe that their 18 month old daughters are transmen because they don't want to wear poofy dresses and bows in their hair or sons are transwomen because they want to play with dolls instead of trucks.

Most of these parents are in their mid-20s to mid-30s which means they grew up in the 90s/00s and probably did not have a highly gendered childhood. Is it just to get social media clout? Is it because they're in echo chambers? It baffles me.
THIS. A friend of mine posted how she was so proud of her pre-schooler for not feeling like they have to adhere to societal norms because he chose a pink toy. Does she seriously not realise the pre-schooler wasn't giving a fuck about being woke he just wanted the pink toy?

What on earth is going on?! Why is rape treated so lightly in this country?

FFS!!! What the hell is happening with this country???

Between this and the guy who was the first to get convicted due to DNA being up for release 🤬🤬🤬

That yin raped and murdered 2 young lassies but is apparently rehabilitated. I'm sorry but I don't care. He needs to be behind bars for the rest of his puff.

It's crazy that a cricketer is being hauled over the coals because of 10yr old tweets but an actual murderer seems to be getting an easier ride (not that I'm excusing what the cricketer said)

This country has gone mental!!!

I’m already tired of all the ridiculous takes about this case on Twitter. I really think it’s high time we start teaching basic law in schools. The way this case has been weaponised is frankly absurd - the judgment literally states there are consequences for harassment of trans people and indiscriminate misgendering etc, yet theres TRAs saying ‘now we can be misgendered and harassed at work with no consequences’ ?? They’re really not the brightest bunch, I do find it a bit worrying that people who seem to be this dim are allowed to consent to stuff like top surgery….perhaps it’s part of the show.
They know the average person won't read the full judgement and are trying to control the narrative/spin it to their victimhood agenda.

There is so much misinformation around the Forstater case I’ve struggled to keep up to be honest - seen lots on twitter about how this is proof it is not safe to be trans in this country
Which is weird, because the original judgement was proof that it's not safe to be a woman who disagrees with angry men in this country.
