I have no words for this! How awful. I’m worried about my daughters going to secondary school. It’s a few years off yet but I feel like it’s going to be a period of time where I’m going to really have to have their corner, especially if self id takes hold, i feel like society generally seems to really dislike teenage girls? Idk why. Just a lot of blame gets put on them from basically the day they start puberty onwards for no good reason. Guess that’s patriarchy in a nutshell really, blame women for all the problems men cause.

I saw this earlier and couldn’t stop thinking about this poor baby and the lifelong trauma he’s going to suffer when he’s ripped from the only caregiver he’s ever known. One day he’ll learn that he was abandoned by his “gestational surrogate” (not blaming her for that btw, she fulfilled her part of the deal) and the woman he called mother was actually a paid nanny.I hate surrogacy, make it stop!!

I don’t have a daughter, or any kids for that matter, but I am so incensed that girls are having their education messed up because of the harassment/sexual assaults they face from boys on a seemingly daily basis. I caught a tail end of a discussion last week on Jeremy Vine’s radio show about this, where mums rang up about the incidents their daughters faced. They, and teachers too, say it is prevalent and getting worse.
I am convinced that the number of girls who say they are non-binary or who want to change sex to become a boy are doing it because of what they are facing at school, and probably what they think society are large is like for girls. Life is getting worse for girls when they should be reaping the rewards of decades of women’s empowerment. There really needs to be urgent action on this. All the porn boys, at ever younger ages, are watching and acting upon, is damaging them too. Where are their childhoods?

I'm feel like I'm one of many women who, had they been born 10 years later, would have identified as non-binary. (I'm in my late twenties). Being a woman feels like a life-long penalty I did not ask for and I would have tried to escape it as teenager.
It’s quite plain to see that girls are opting out of womanhood because of the harassment they face. What girl would want to grow up now? In this porn saturated culture where boys watch violent porn from a young age.
On another topic, this article came to my attention from a post on Instagram of someone saying how transwoman can get pregnant in the future. (WTF?!) Medical professionalisms advocating that transwomen (men) be considered equal recipients for uterus transplants. This is dystopian, Frankenstein horror.

One of my younger cousins is 13/14. My aunt found out that a girl of the same age was sending him pictures of her in a bra etc on Snapchat. The finger was immediately pointed at the girl and my aunt was saying things like "don't you think it's absolutely ridiculous she's sending this to MY SON, he's only 14".
I don't know what to say. Young girls don't send these pictures for no reason and I can almost guarantee she's been pressured into it. She's also only 14. How is she being held responsible? My cousin is no angel - in fact, he's a cheeky little tit - but I'm so pissed off that he's being given a free pass and nothing being said to him, aside from "boys will be boys". I remember being this age and it was slightly before smartphones were popular, but still feeling pressured into taking "risqué" photos. What hope do young girls have today? I really thought we were past this.

He might be totally blameless. She might think that is what you do to tell a boy you like him and that was the reason she sent it. As well as girls being damaged by this, there will be boys too. Toxic masculinity forces them to participate in things they might not be ready for either. Females are by far the victims, but boys are being damaged too. It is all ducked up.
Yeah it's all messed up. I hope my aunt will sit down and talk to him about it but I don't think she knows where to start, and who can blame her. He's already saying things like "this girl in school is a ag", and he clearly doesn't really understand what he's saying, but I worry it'll go unchecked until its too late to correct. A lot of it will be teenage bravado and I hope he grows out of it because we need to break the cycle.

In a way I’m thankful my school let us wear trousers, most girls did actually because those black flared stretchy trousers were in fashion. I lived in a mutlicultural area so I think this had some bearing on the fact we didn’t only have the skirts option. Navigating periods and pads etc was much easier with trousers. I’ve nothing against skirts but as a teen, I wanted to cover up because I was aware of boys’ gaze. Thankfully phone-wise, kids had Nokia 3310s so the worst they could do p*rn wise was download ascii art symbol pictures or send rude words

Nah I don’t believe that transwomen have been getting uterus transplants ‘for a while’. Surely not? I don’t think they have even managed to get uterus transplants for women to be reliable yet. They’re not plug in and play organs and you need more than just a uterus to sustain a pregnancy, your entire body gets involved in some way or another. How is a transwomen going to produce the hormones required to widen their pelvis or create the extra blood required during pregnancy? The fluctuating hormones?
