The reason women don't "swirl their skirts around" is because we've got better things to do. And we'd also likely be criticised for it, so.
Apparently some TERFS online said women shouldn’t swirl their skirt, that’s not what they do. I've spent some time trying to work out whether this is more offensive to women or transwomen, I think it possibly just really equal opportunity reductive to both? I mean, if you want to be in a 'hot girls' menopause facebook group to giggle and swap accessory tips, fill your boots but I'll be right over here in the real world planning the downfall of capitalism/smashing of the patriarchy same as I do every day.
Whether it's something some women do or not is kind of irrelevant IMO- TiMs can swirl their skirts to their hearts content but it doesnt make them women
I really despise this infantilising stuff I've seen a lot over the last while about how TiMs seemingly 'woman' better than real women. Throw it into a menopause Facebook group and it's even more infuriating

I guarantee you the majority of TW will not use then as they want to be in women's spaces. They don't want to be perceived as trans even if they are not castrated and feature make pattern baldness and a beard . They demand to be seen as women, hence we "cis". That is the problem
There is one transitioning at work. I don't know him but I have heard he says things like " when I was a little girl.." why does no one challenge him?
I just find this creepy
I understand they want to be seen as women and therefore would want to say when I was a girl as opposed to "outing" themselves by saying "when I was a little boy"
But why couldn't they just say when I was growing up??
It just seems a bit fetish-y to me

I don't think I've ever said " when I was a little girl" we tend to say " when I was little". Someone who knows him says he is creepy and very odd and married and the wife supports him.
I’ve seen people getting “cancelled” for not using the “new” pride flag with the trans colours cutting across it. Sorry but how can a flag cause so much upset? The rainbow flag already represented trans people, it’s like they constantly are wanting to trample all over everyone else to get to the top…plus there is already a trans flag.
I’m more so confused over the fact that clearly it has always been the argument and acceptance that sexuality is not the same as gender identity…so why would you want something that’s about gender being bundled with something about sexuality. Surely they are gonna be more upset that people are gonna think they’re the “same” as people who aren’t straight.

Yes, agree. I don't know all the people on this list, but Munroe Bergdorf strikes me as someone we used to refer to as transsexual rather than transgender. There are people who have gender dysphoria and for those people transitioning seems to be a legitimate treatment. I support anyone getting help for a mental or physical health issue without exception. Sadly there now seem to be many people who define transgender as something very different to transsexual. Theirs is a movement I cannot support.
And non-binary is something I just don't understand. I know, I know, I should just accept without having to understand, but given that I have never felt like a woman, I simply am a woman, I can't see how anyone can feel male, female or both.
It once again comes down to material reality vs feelings.
You shouldn't feel bad for not accepting it without understanding. Non binary is a load of rit and societies uncritical acceptance of it will mean that many teenage girls etc will have changed their bodies irreversibly. All because of a social contagion that no one can even define
Speaking of non binary I happened upon the Demi Lovato thread. Bar one of two people referring to her as 'they', most of the posters seemed to think it was a load of nonsense. And I didn't see any 'you're a transphobic bigot' type responses. I feel like the awakening is slowly happening

Using the right symbols and words at all times is such a clear sign of cultish behaviour. Why is the 'correct' flag so important? Why are 'correct' pronouns so important? Why is the 'correct' language so important? It truly is brainwashing and so much of it is performative.
