Some people think that Black women aren't as feminine. It's a disgusting trope and is rooted in racism. There are women in every race who don't present as 'feminine' as some others, for some reason in this instance it's Black women who've become the victims of male prejudice.Genuine question, maybe someone who is much better educated than me on this topic can chime in: why are black women so often dragged into this topic?
While I cannot claim as a white woman to understand or even realize all, the acts of racism and prejudice black women have faced their entire lives, I haven’t seen any spaces that want to exclude black women. Men yes, of any skin colour. But not because of their skin colour obviously, but due to the fact that they are men.
Of course black women ( and men, I don’t want to downplay this) still sadly face racism, but I’d be interested why this particular matter is always connected to black women. And I’d also like to know how black women feel about being taken as a „helper“ to shoehorn men into women’s spaces.
Because they have no valid arguments for men in women's spaces, so they have to grab onto something that they can piggy-back on, in the same way that they initially piggybacked the "T" onto "LGB".Genuine question, maybe someone who is much better educated than me on this topic can chime in: why are black women so often dragged into this topic?

Who do I petition to get an "Oh duck off" emoji?I wonder if it ever occurs to these head handmaidens that you never, ever see the special lady types standing up for the rights of actual women. Never.
Loads of women would crawl over broken glass to push the needs of the non women over that of their sisters. Yet it never occurs to them that it only goes one way.
To misquote the Usual Suspects once again, the greatest trick the patriarchy ever played was to convince women that some men are more vulnerable than they are.
Who do I petition to get an "Oh duck off" emoji? I'm old and I'm tired and sometimes I just can't be bothered to type it out. It would be much easier to just click a button. If we can't have an emoji, can we just assume that's my reaction to most things?
Yeah forgive me if I’m speaking out of turn here as a white woman (I’d be furious if a man said something like this about women, for example, that was uninformed) but all the nastiest stuff about black women all seems to be from men? I’ve never even heard a woman of another race hint that they thought black women were less feminine or didn’t belong in their space. I have heard subtle racism about other aspects of blackness. This trope where they try to make black ladies similar to trans men 100% came from a manSome people think that Black women aren't as feminine. It's a disgusting trope and is rooted in racism. That's my take, anyway.
For sure, I've only ever heard it from men. I'm also white but it grinds my gears when men make up things about WOC. Another one I've heard is that East Asian women have sideways vulva/vaginal areas.Yeah forgive me if I’m speaking out of turn here as a white woman (I’d be furious if a man said something like this about women, for example, that was uninformed) but all the nastiest stuff about black women all seems to be from men?
