That’s what I am coming to understand and of course it worries and disgusts me. Also, I probably don’t have a right to speak on it, but how infuriating for gay people to have to accept this burden.
I think it’s important that we all speak out to highlight how much the TQ+ are piggybacking on the LGB to further their murky aims.

It’s very easy to argue that the trans right movement is just like the gay rights movement decades ago. It isn’t though ⬇

Edinburgh Women’s Aid has broken protocol by going against Scottish Women’s Aid’s ‘trans inclusive’ approach. They will only cater to females and will employ exclusively female staff.

One of the most genuinely sad parts of Linehan's book is that he genuinely believed in the inherent goodness and logic of people and was deeply hurt when none of his friends and colleagues defended him after he spoke out about the nonsense of gender ideology.

He genuinely cares about women, and doing the right thing, and I'm not one to give men a pat on the head for the bare fucking minimum but I really appreciate the very few high profile men who stick up for women. They're like hen's teeth

I'm glad to see him being vindicated at last, but he's been through absolute hell.

I've noticed lately on a couple of Tattle threads the word Terf being used as a slur, in one case 'loser Terfs.'
Not very kind from the Be Kind crew, it makes me a bit sad that the rise of the Trans movement pits women against each other.

Divide and conquer, I guess but these women can't see what's right in front of them.

When I was younger, AGP's were called transvestites. They were often asked to come onto daytime TV shows where there would be a discussion about how they liked to go out in public dressed as a female, they would often have their long-suffering wife with them, who would always confirm that they were still happily married and that they were learning to live with their husband's strange little habits. The audience would be split between those who shrugged and said that it didn't bother them, and it was no-one else's business, and those who thought they were perverts who needed locking up, or at least a few sessions with a shrink. Meanwhile, us viewers would point and laugh and would tell our husbands and boyfriends how they'd be kicked out onto the street if we ever came home and caught them prancing around in our underwear.

I honestly don't know how they managed to change public opinion so successfully and in such a short space of time. To oldies like me, the thought of a tr@nnie coming into our toilets with such a perfect sense of entitlement, is unthinkable, what man would do such a thing, even if wearing a dress? As for these men who compete in women's sporting events, words just fail me. It's like living in a clown world, where nothing makes sense and everything is topsy-turvy.
I know that we can sit here and blame porn, the Internet and whatever else, but honestly, women can be their own worst enemy sometimes. We've sat back and let men just take everything. We've mooned over men wearing womanface, we've given perverts like Eddie Izzard free rein to grope himself in our toilets, we've laughed as flashers show their genitals on mainstream telly, and we've bent over backwards to accommodate every cross-dressing weirdo who prances before us, declaring that he's a better woman than we'll ever be. Still, at least we're being "kind" 🤮.
Thank god for our few safe spaces. This thread. The good terfs on X and other SM. The women who are shouting loudly every single day to try to protect women and girls. The rare and precious celebrities who put their head on the block when they publicly support us. The lawyers who are upholding our rights and protections. There is hope. And light at the end of the tunnel (even if it is Trump holding the torch!) We've kicked mens arses before, and we'll do it again. I love men, I really do. But I'm never bowing to the demands of transvestites. Sorry, but no.

Men cannot be mothers. I don’t dispute men can be excellent fathers either to their own children or when gay couples adopt however to suggest that a man taking a baby from a surrogate isn’t going to fundamentally change that child for life is so ignorant. When my baby is unsettled/poorly/teething the only thing that really settles her is skin to skin on my chest, and usually a breastfeed. This is part of what makes me unique as a woman. (Don’t start with “formula is valid too!”- that’s not my point).
Anyone who has spent even 2 minutes in the company of an infant knows how they can't do anything for themselves, but they are always searching for their mother. Even when they can't hold their heads up they are constantly looking for her and responding to the sound of her voice and her smell. To deliberately break that bond between the most vulnerable of human beings and their only attachment figure is abhorrent.

My mother gave me away at 10 weeks old and despite having adoptive parents who loved me and who I adored, it caused damage that I am still at a loss to fix 39 years later.

It's IWD here in my hemisphere, I just posted this on FB. Think I've covered everything except troons (most know my stance on that.)

I’m seeing so much Harry Potter related costumes for WBD on my social feeds today. I see the boycott is going well 🤭
A few years ago someone I know swore blind that JKR was a transphobic terf and her books would never cross the threshold of her house. Fast forward to now, her kiddo is Potter mad.

Yeah - they are wasting tax payers money on these horrific unnecessary operation on healthy body parts and will be relying on tax payers to bail them out when the inevitable law suits come rolling in.
You know what, this really pisses me off. I had a single mastectomy a couple of years ago, and am now weighing up options regarding reconstruction. I enquired about just going flat, and was told they don't like to do that, as it's removing a healthy breast. Fair enough I suppose, but the NHS picks and chooses based on whether some women "feels like a man"? Grr.

I called them out on loser terfs and they gave me a sick emoji 😂
I did too, and she started lecturing us on not derailing the thread 🤣 It was left at that, but she's a terf too. She knows who the women are. And if she wants to undress with and play sports against men, let her, I won't stop her, but I'll be damned if she'll force my daughter to do the same and call it progress and virtue.

Let's hear it for loser terfs (who are actually at the start of a victory), hatefully enabling women to have single sex changing rooms, showers, rape crisis centres, sports and lesbian meet ups, for 1.2 billion years 🥂

There is no open platform for discussion on these topics except Tattle life as the comments are always pulled for being transphobic etc.

I am fully pro trans and have a friend that was trans in the early 2000s so I know it's the real deal and how you often feel at birth but we need to use the correct terminology that recognises genders separately.

If you are trans then you are a trans female and not a female. Once we have this clear gender descriptions and groups we are able to better discuss these issues maturely without fear.

We need scientists and doctors to openly speak out in support of more understanding of a woman's point of view so that we don't get called trans phobic and then the debate doesn't get started.

I am certain I am not transphobic as I know I am liberal and want everyone to be included living in harmony please God.
The world is just so difficult to live in and it doesn't get any better if we can't discuss thing appropriately then we will have a future with everyone having mental health issues as they can't speak their mind and are disregarding when trying etc.
We have the language already. They are still men, biological males, no matter how they feel or want to dress themselves. Not ‘trans female’. There is nothing female about them. The best way to go is to embrace gender non-conformity and feminine men.

We don’t have to accept fetishes in public places or work environments no matter anyone’s biology or identity though.

It really is that simple. Anyone struggling to come to terms with that just needs therapy.

'People with breasts are statistically less likely to receive bystander CPR than men, let's change that.'

Why doesn’t it say “'People with breasts are statistically less likely to receive bystander CPR than people with penises, let's change that.'

What angers me the most with a lot of stuff like this is it’s only ever one way. The misogyny is disgusting. They can’t even pretend it’s to be inclusive. What goes through their minds when they write this stuff? Do they even have a conversation about whether to change ‘men’ to ‘people with penises’? Or is their misogyny so ingrained they don’t even notice they are only erasing the word woman and men will always be men?

Ghey’s social media was some of the most shocking stuff I’ve ever seen. Incredibly violent, fantasising about death, soft core porn.

His parents didn’t parent him and his school totally failed him. I’m not surprised that Scarlett was envious of him - everyone treated him like he was so much better and more special than all the boring girls who just born female.

Has anyone seen this? Esther Ghey is releasing a book next week and this is an interview with her for the guardian. Brett was a very troubled boy and it seems nobody was able to say no to him. It seems she knew the kind of sites he was accessing, his online behaviour and how seriously it was affecting him but just let him carry on because she didn’t want to isolate him? Is it really that hard to stop teenagers from this excessive phone use? My child is still primary age so maybe I’m a bit naive to this. I know social media companies should do a lot more to prevent harmful content but where is the parental responsibility? He was a child! She also says her own mum called social services on her when the kids were younger. Just so many red flags here. I said this on the last thread but you never see trans identified people with emotionally healthy childhoods. Brett was no exception. Wonder what people will think of her ‘deadnaming’ him throughout the book.

I volunteer with a small library and one of the comments I've heard is that children want 'naughty' characters - a lot of children, teens and young adults are fed up with books lecturing them on 'right' think.
Anyone with children, or who liked reading as a child, knows this. Even the goody-two-shoes heroes like Harry Potter, are rebellious, they don't do what they're told, and they sneak around where they shouldn't, they lie and steal, and disrespect authority...even if it is for the greater good. From Horrid Henry, right back to the Famous Five, kids up to no good are what all the best stories are about. Who honestly wants to read about some kid whose dad is now his mum? Ffs, no-one cares! 🙄
