I rarely, if ever, wear make up these days and most of the time I look like a tramp but I am still obviously a woman! Seems everything can be "transphobic" these days!I saw this on my YouTube feed this morning. Some leftists now say that Pamela Anderson being make-up free is racist and transphobic. Transphobic apparently because 'transwomen' need makeup so this is apparently causing hatred to those because some random woman is not wearing makeupit's also racist apparently. But as this youtube points out, Alicia Keyes also often goes makeup free and no-one is calling her a transphobe.
It's extraordinary that it is only now dawning on some people that, as the writer of the article puts it, granting rights to trans women all too often entails removing rights from biological women. I kinda feel well, DUH! In other news, water is wet.
But I guess it's progress to see articles like that stating the truth, plain as it is for the rest of us, to see.

That's great. I've listened to/read a few GC books on it now. Fantastic resource to have.
definitely no in GlasgowLK has a book to promote, so of course she's going to stick a Trans person in it! Catering to the current trend and being a 'friend to (all) people'. It's going to help her sell her book. She's hardly been a huge advocate for their community before this.

This is what I think has happened in my life. My teenagers never really bothered with technology before lockdown, then they were forced onto their phones/laptops daily for school work. And then suddenly my daughter is captured and coming out with every phase I've ever read or heard come out of any of these stupid men's mouths. At one point she was a parrot of Dylan Mulvaney and Jeffery Marsh.

So many of these people think the process of either changing their look or physically changing their bodies will solve all their problems. It's created more problems.
This is why it's a mental illness and should be treated as such.
I wonder what type of surgeons they go to. Do they not do any research if they are already lacking common sense? They can equally shove up all the silicone implants to get mock bits, but they'll never nurse a baby. And they truly think that by being castrated and fashioning a sort of tunnel out of left-over penile skin and a bit of colon they'd have a functioning tina? I doubt there's a revision possible and if there is, it's what? a hole to pee out of and nothing more? Backdoor only sex if so inclined? Or is that then also a no-go thanks to it becoming a tissue donor? The doctors should also be banned from practicing, imo.
Graham Linehan is being sued and is crowdfunding, it's on his X account. Someone mentioned JKR and he said she's never helped him. Obviously she isn't required to donate to everyone who wants it but now I think about it, she's never mentioned him either. Does anyone have any idea why that might be? Obviously she isn't required to do that either so it may well be that she's busy and supportive enough (which she is!) but I wondered if there was anything going on that I'm not aware of.
I'm always staggered by how thick so many people are so I personally think it's just that.
It might be that any 'women's issue' tends to attract apparently sympathetic men who turn out to be wolves in sheep's clothing so maybe she stepping back because of that. Graham was a bit manic about it all for a while too so that tends to make people pull away a bit. Hope it works out for him.
