I've seen so many posts in various places about women boycotting their sports because of men. I agree but then if women simply stopped competing these blokes would just be competing against other blokes so their advantage would be gone. I bet however they'd start kicking off about the level of trans person they would be competing against, suddenly they'd start wanting tests for testosterone levels, whether their competitors had gone through male puberty etc. A bit like the trans 'woman' kicking off now about drag Queens stealing trans roles

One thing I am finding interesting is how people are rightly up in arms about these blokes boxing against women. It seems a lot of this went under the radar in the last Olympics so I think the tide is turning

Don't think she has but I'm hopeful she'll say something after the Olympics or when she retires.

The British Medical Association are going to evaluate the Cass report. Sounds like they want to discredit it from what I can make out on X.

I hope it is - I don't know whether any of you have seen Avi Silverberg - there are a few videos of him online - where a male powerlifting coach entered a competition against a TW to show the unfairness of letting men compete with women.

The TW was very upset to get "her" records broken and complained that Avi "wasn't really trans" - how unfair. And the TW was very popular, apparently because "she" was "nice". Yeah - sure.

Yes, I saw it a while ago. He deliberately made a mockery of the rules just simply saying he was a woman. And the trans person didn't like it & wasn't so nice after all

I'm tired of reading that women should just refuse to compete - in the sports they've dedicated their entire lives to and from which they earn their living?

It takes us back 100 years, when women didn't compete in any sports, because sports were for men and women's sports didn't exist.

Women are always expected to modify our behaviour because men can't be decent human beings.

These two guys were tested twice - statement made today.

ETA - they did not have testosterone tests - TRAs are claiming they are women with elevated T. Instead they seem to have had chromosome tests which confirmed they are male (XY)

That's a great statement and finishes with a nice dig at the IOC.
They didn't even appeal the decision - they obviously knew they were caught out.

It would stop them punching women and a pointless win as well , or they'd be forced to punch another man to win it.....

The easy answer is to stop it but - too many enablers and money involved.....

I've said it before but worth repeating, wtf is going to happen in the future? Your birth certificate is a record of a point in history. Just because you decide 60 years later you disagree with it doesn't mean you can change it and therefore change history.
I know we all agree (that's why we're all here on this thread) but history in a hundred years time is going to be a mess. 'Who do you think you are' in 2124 is going to be a tit show.
Also, I bet good money that particular individual has children and grandchildren. What will their family tree look like? Ah, here's my great grandmother's birth certificate but it has a different name and gender to what everyone remembers.
As I said (apologies for the rant, I'm just tired of all of this) you just can't change history and birth certificates are a record of history. My father was an absolute tit of a human and I would do anything to change my birth certificate to remove him from history but I can't. If I suddenly decided I was a man then I'd be able to change my birth certificate.
Make it make sense please.

Why is it the press standards can force journalists to use preferred pronouns but the same press are free to use the terminology ‘child pornography’ rather than what it actually is - child sexual abuse images/material. Daily Mail have used the former multiple times the last few days.

Violence against women and girls is at epidemic levels and the IOC sanction two previously disqualified males to enter a boxing ring for the purpose of fighting with women. Watching men beat women with their fists is now a sport. Everyone should be up in arms about this.

The size difference is ridiculous. I’ve met Carl frampton before who is a small Irish boxer and probably(definitely) weighs less than me and he is shorter than me but he could knock the duck out of me, mostly because I am unfit but partly down to DNA.
But the fact anyone is watching that and saying it is ok is baffling. I’m gutted that the women have no choice but to do this. Imagine you had a once in a life time to represent your country in the Olympics. It is easy to say they should just refuse but some people may not have the financial means to do that and also they could have their national federation putting pressure on them.
