Was in two minds but watched the boxing, its very upsetting, I can't believe this is allowed. Angela Carini had to give up

I’ve just watched it and it was sickening. His reach was so much more than hers she couldn’t land any punches. She took a heavy blow to the head and the ref stopped the match. She was so angry she was in tears and I don’t speak Italian but I thought I heard her say “injusto” which sounds like “unfair”. Too bleeping right that was not a fair fight, it was a man punching a woman to the face

I don't know what boxing is normally like but, to me, it looked terrible. She stood no chance against a violent bloke

This is from the telegraph. Her safety comes first but my heart breaks for her Olympic dreams to end this way. All those years of training Because of a cheating man and all those that enable him

at first I was disappointed she went in the ring at all (Carini) but in hindsight this is much more newsworthy. Good for her.

I grew up in the 70s and 80s watching the Paul Hogan Show, when I think back on it, it was more of a celebration of Australian culture . If my strict mother let me watch it, it wasn't that bad.

Also wanted to comment on the boxing. I feel sick about it too, what kind of man would hit a woman on purpose? I'm not talking sparring at training, that's not sneaky and cowardly.
They've even let that child r*pist play volleyball or whatever.
Travesty.

My heart breaks for Carini. All the training, dedication and sacrifices she's made to get this far only to have her moment stolen from her by a cheating man and everyone who allowed it get this far.

She got one punch to the head and had to quit. The difference between them physically was so apparent. Made me sick to my stomach.

Just heard her shout, "Non e giusto" to her trainer from KJK's livestream = "It's not fair". Good. Glad she vocalised, poor bloody woman.

These two guys were tested twice - statement made today.

ETA - they did not have testosterone tests - TRAs are claiming they are women with elevated T. Instead they seem to have had chromosome tests which confirmed they are male (XY)

If they truly were "women with elevated testosterone", the TRAs wouldn't care enough about them to make a protest.

They are men.

I can't fathom how the IOC ever thought allowing two male boxers entry into the women's category fair, equal or justified.

The British Medical Association are going to evaluate the Cass report. Sounds like they want to discredit it from what I can make out on X.

Let's hope they are fully transparent with who carries out the review. They mustn't have anything to gain by trying to discredit the report - not a hormone drug pusher, pharmaceutical connections or butcher, sorry I mean surgeon. And this should include family members, friends, business adventures & investment. Whoever does the review must be 100% neutral.

Sadly I think there’s large chance of that being the case.
