For an article in Women’s Health about.. well.. women’s health, they sure have a lot of ways not to say WOMAN considering their namesake
Shame there wasn't a misprint error in their article and it said VOLVO owners 🤣

ETA I had a job as a proofreader many moons ago.

I’m a proofreader too and I’d send it back to the editors asking why we’re called Women’s Health and have this article that seems to have no relevance to women as it seems not to mention them 😂 maybe they could be included?

Freaky Friday-

spotted 2x likely “NB” both strolling in chunky doc marten boots and emo clothing with patterned walking sticks

A moodly female (longish hair, skirt) buying period pads with He-they-them pronoun pins on their bag….

Northumberland police - not a safe space for women and/or free speech. Reading to the end - the duty solicitor then advises that she shouldn't cause offence with her opinions

And this is notable - it is a potential offence to not include 'TQ' in your Twitter bio

Nope. Freedom of speech means freedom to offend. I am offended by trans activists threatening to murder women or punch them in the face. The Police are overreaching and the backlash will be huge, they police by consent but they are not policing actual crimes, try getting anyone to deal with a theft or burglary. They are visibly wasting their time on thought crimes and virtue signalling at parades. All police forces need an audit.
---
Offend isn’t the same as hate speech or incitement to violence. The hurty feelings crowd are crying wolf too many times and it is now being seen through.

Agreed. I’m offended by the idea that human beings can change sex. No, they can’t. It’s biologically impossible. The thought that some women have penises, that any old man can put on a dress and some badly applied make up and then go barging into women only spaces, and we’re in the wrong for objecting. That a crazy ideology has gripped the world and that there is zero tolerance of questioning it. Why are the police are now becoming the thought police? Its scary, especially as them seem reluctant or too thin on the ground to deal with actual crime. I suppose bullying women who stand up against being brainwashed is easier?

I think Suella Braverman was right in that the Police aren't even handed however I don't think it's necessarily a right/left issue, it's a easy/hard issue. Far easier to police women than BLM supporters or pro palastinian marches.

I thought the Tories said they were going to clamp down on these unlawful arrests for hurting someone’s feelings? There’s been no change despite supposed direction from Braverman. Honestly, what’s the point of being in government if you don’t actually follow through? Same goes for their supposed concern about trans ideology being pushed in schools.

I’m offended by the idea that wearing pants and being a “tomboy” makes you a non-woman, a man, or a non-binary. SO PROGRESSIVE

I find it a bit chilling that her own solicitor told the police that she didn’t mean any offence by her tweets. As far as I’m concerned, it doesn’t matter if she DID intend to offend. That’s freedom of speech. Hurt feelings should never be a police issue.

It is nice to see that Northumberland police don’t have any actual crimes to investigate though!!

I wonder how they manage domestic violence? We all know that it’s everywhere. So I’m sure they could be doing something to try to eradicate it… education, welfare checks etc. Nah, let’s just go intimidate a woman instead 🥴

That situation tweeted about by Fair Cop is absolutely ludicrous. Some people are commenting that after FWS TWAM if there is no GRC, which is correct, but as far as I can see also missing that Forstater also said that even if someone (like MF) didn't believe a TW with a GRC was a woman this was still a belief that had to be tolerated in a pluralist society even if it was offensive or profoundly distressing for others. So I don't see how tweeting TWAM even if aimed at a male with a GRC saying he is a woman can be an offence.

The duty solicitor was an absolute joke as well, he (for I bet it was a he) can get in the bin as well.

I had a total rage about Caster Semenya again catching up on Pointless this week when CS was a pointless answer for the category of 'women 1500 world champion medal winners' I could see my husband side eyeing me expecting me to go off on one but I just fumed quietly.

I was watching the sky interview with sharron Davies this morning with hubby. I passed a comment that she will probably me vilified for speaking as she did. She was talking about Caster.

We got into a discussion that I would probably be seen as non binary if I had grown up in these times. I played with my older brother and his mates, I like formula 1, I like making stuff whether wood work or knitting.

He thought it was ludicrous that a man weighing the same as a women could box each other (in a match) if he declared himself a women. Classes in sports are there for a reason.

We came to the agreement that sex (and testosterone) gives you a propensity to like certain hobbies, but liking certain hobbies does not impact on your sex. Sex can't be changed, who you find attractive doesn't change ( in that you have a type normally, gay, opposite sex, dark hair, tall etc) but hobbies evolve with time.

Sorry if this sounds clumsy I can't articulate very well.

1. You don't bloody look anything like the picture in that book, it's a fantasy image Dr. Barker.
2. You remain physically like the MAN you are...the man you will ALWAYS be.
3. For someone who has a PhD in a scientific subject, you are woefully ignorant of basic human biology.
4. Have a tissue to dry your physical tears for your imaginary "hurty feelings".

ETA Oops. Did I come on too strong dear tattlers? Sick of all this BS trans push.

Having had a quick scroll through his X account and seen some pics I can safely say he doesn’t look anywhere near as feminine as the photo above it (and he looks like a bloke in that!)

Sex/testosterone/whatever doesn’t give you a propensity to like certain hobbies. It’s society that does that.
