Sandi is not stupid. She’s clearly playing the game because there’s no way she believes such lies. What she is saying is there is no such thing as homosexuality. Because if all it takes is for a bloke to pop on some lippy and say he’s a woman and we’ve all to believe it then there is no such thing as being a les. She knows that but is gagged. This ‘I can’t fathom it’ nonsense is just despicable from her. It makes her look stupid and weak, two things I’d have never have called her before. She’s scared of the TRAs imo, and is choosing to lie in order to be left alone because no matter how much abuse the papers are saying she’s getting from GC women, we all know that it would be a million times worse if she’d gone the other way and dared to piss if the almighty TRAs. She’s seen what happened to JKR. Lost every shred of respect I had for her.
I think you are absolutely right - there is *no* way she believes that rubbish, but she also knows which side her bread is buttered. She could have added her voice to reality, but I guess she's afraid of sabotaging her career. Really sad.

She couldn't give a toss. She's ageing & happily settled with millions of Pounds in the bank.
None of all that will personally affect her life or lifestyle . She's like most of them in the media - hypocritical on lots of money.

The truth will out...

"Transwoman footballer forced to quit women's league when rivals refused to play her has secret past as sex worker listed as a 'naughty schoolgirl' with a 'surprise under my skirt' on entertainer site."

"The profile has horrified the footballing community in South Yorkshire where Ms Needham was forced out of the Sheffield and Hallamshire Women's League because "terrified" opponents refused to play against her.
A source close to the women's football community said: ‘It is clear the birth male playing on the ladies team has been a sex worker.
This is a massive safeguarding concern. It's worth bearing in mind this birth male would be sharing changing rooms and single sex spaces with young females.' "
Birth male?! It’s a MAN just say MAN

I had such high hopes when the WEP was formed, but then it became clear that the party was more concerned with gender than sex so their raison d’être became moot for me. The comments under this tweet are good though:

I was a WEP founding member. I also interviewed with them for a job and they never even had the courtesy to contact me afterwards. They’re a shitshow. It’s such a shame.

The obfuscation of language is one of the reasons we're at this point. Compare "Transwomen are women" with "Men are women", "Transwomen should be allowed to use women's toilets" with "Men should be allowed to use women's toilets", "Transwomen belong in women's spaces" with "Men belong on women's spaces". It's all been done very carefully. In a lot of ways I'm no fan of Kelly Jay Keen but I admire the way she has always refused to not use the word men. I used to think she was a little unfair in this respect but her refusal makes it much less wooly and obvious what's actually going on.

She's despicable for what she's doing.

I heard that the Labour candidate for our local elections were canvassing in my neighbourhood today and I’m so disappointed that I didn’t get a knock at the door. I was ready with my “can you please tell me what a woman is?” and “can women have a pen?” questions!

The USA has been trying to reduce sex trafficking, and enforce immigration laws, by cracking down on women who use working holiday visas or the visa waiver scheme to enter the country for prostitution. So if, say, an attractive woman has a lot of designer clothes with her and doesn't have a return ticket and/or a hotel booking, she might be treated with suspicion. Quite a few Japanese women do this and it's been in the news there recently that some women have been suspected as prostitutes and not allowed to enter the country.

Now predictably social media has a bunch of people complaining about this because "what about the SEX WORKERS?" and argue that trafficking doesn't really exist or is so rare as to be negligible. (Yes, they really believe this and want to pretend that trafficking is just "migrant sex work.") So much concern for the rights and safety of women there. And if you insist "sex work is work!" then you shouldn't have a problem with someone being deported for trying to do that "work" without a visa for employment, just like they would for any other kind of work

I'm very lucky to be on holiday in Rome at the moment. Today there was a HUGE womens march around the city to protest against violence against women. Hundreds of women, men and children marching, no trans agenda, no violence or hate. The odd pride flag but the whole thing was about WOMEN!! Wonderful to witness 👏

The phrase sex work is work is as pointless as transwomen are women. No one is denying sex work is work, it’s dangerous exploitative work that puts women at risk of violence & injury - and yet the patriarchy wants us to believe it’s full of empowered sexually confident women who love sex and love the work. I’m sure there are women who think like that but they’re in the minority!

I think that's because of the student who was murdered by her ex partner. Her name was Giulia Cecchettin and she was studying engineering. He stabbed her and dumped her body near a lake. She was just about to graduate. Her older sister, Elena said - “For Giulia don’t hold a moment of silence, for Giulia burn everything,” she wrote. “Femicide is a state murder because the state does not protect us. Femicide is not a crime of passion, it is a crime of power.”

I’ve just watched the Dr Who reboot. Everyone in my household are long-time fans so we were looking forward to seeing David Tennant reprise the role.

I knew there was going to be a trans character, and thought well okay, maybe they’ll just be there as a character and their transness wont be commented on. But oh no, we had the full-on virtue signalling that had nothing to do with the plot. At one point, the doctor referred to an alien as ‘he’ and was pulled up by the TIM character with, “you’re assuming he as a pronoun?”
The Doctor replies, “true - sorry. Are you a he, a she or a they?”
The alien says, “my chosen pronoun is the definite article.”
The trans character saves the day of course and we had a spiel about becoming who they were meant to be blah blah. The mother (Catherine Tate) is shown as ultra protective when some kids ‘misgender’ the trans ‘daughter’. Honestly, the way it detracted from the story put us all off. They’ve had gay characters, disabled characters etc many times before and they are just there as characters with lives. If the whole series is going to be like this, think I’ll lose the will…

And so very obviously male, despite the kind lighting and make up. And such a terrible actor. And the bloody Mulvaney like prancing and campness. Pathetic really.

I've just watched this, if my eyes roll any more, they'll be at the back of my head!
Sigh...David Tennant and Catherine Tate were an iconic pairing on this show, everyone has been looking forward to seeing them together again. No wonder Tennant was so keen to return, his thirsty wife must have been overjoyed, I'm just surprised their "trans" kid hasn't yet made an appearance 🙄
It was like watching a party political broadcast on behalf of the Pronoun Party...talk about propaganda. Is this what it's going to be like now? Trans characters shoehorned into every show? Lectures on how "male-presenting" characters need to embrace their female side? I can't even talk about comparing "binary" (mathematics, science) to "non-binary" (made up concept by boring straight people) 😡😡😡

Hopefully someone will put online an edit which is just the of Donna and the Doctor.

I’m not surprised though, I had a feeling that was the way it would go. I can’t imagine the BBC care what the wider audience think, as long as they are virtue signalling they’ll be happy.

Came here to talk about Doctor Who and glad to find others who feel the same as me! I think Yasmin is a terrible actor and has a decidedly masculine jawline. The virtue signalling and ridiculous leaps of logic were worse than usual, and it is one of the most silly shows out there (let's reverse the massive chasms across London with the flick of a switch)!

Is Yasmin the one who was on heart stopper and people said distracted from the gay relationship?

My favourite was a couple of series ago where we had Michelle Gomez as Missy and John Simm as the Master, that played with gender and identity too but not in a way that denied biological sex. I had no issue with the Doctor becoming a woman either, but the men who kicked off about that were ridiculous.
