Himdia commented on this article and suggested that the author 'got her hormone levels checked'. We are all at the mercy of our hormones aren't we, girls, we can't have an opinion, express ourselves or differ from anything that men want without being mocked or vilified.

There's been a huge fuss over same sex dancing partnerships on Strictly. I'm all for inclusion, and I'm not homophobic in any way, shape or form, but I really can't see the point? Ballroom dancing is designed for mixed couples, there's no reason why the individual dancers can't be gay, but there is normally a male lead and a female partner, their sexuality is completely irrelevant. The male couple on Strictly at present are both amazing dancers, and they clearly have a lovely working relationship, but I honestly don't understand why being gay means you need to dance with a member of the same sex? I'm probably missing a point somewhere, but I'm not sure that the point needed to be made.

To be fair, often there are single sex parings in competitive ballroom, but usually two girls or women because there aren’t enough men. Also given the previous gay/bi pros, Ian, Robin, Matthew, it’s only Johannes who has been very public about it. John Whaite made such a fuss about being gay and wanting to dance with a man, whereas I’m not sure that the two things necessarily went together.

The Mail had a very successful podcast following the Lucy Letby trial. They also followed the Ashling Murphy trial and I’ve just had notification about them following the Brianna Ghey trial which starts next week.

I will anxiously wait for the reaction from the trans community on this one. Funny how trans women are women but they can’t get as angry over the deaths of actual women but when it’s one of their own… it’s like there is a tangible difference that they can identify between trans women and biological women

"People born with a pen" and "people born with a vulva". If only there was one single, easy to read and understand, word for each of those types of people.

I'm going book shopping for the young people in my life tomorrow and if I spot this one I will have to hide it.

There’s this one as well by the same authors. They managed to get through a whole book on human reproduction without mentioning man / woman / male / female. It’s all ‘people this’, ‘grown ups that’. It‘s telling children that there is no name for people born with a pen or people born with a vulva. Everybody is just ‘people’. Huge propensity to confuse children who know they are boys or girls and what makes them a boy or a girl.

Agree they’re not a great actor (and that’s nothing to do with their trans status), but it hasn’t stopped them getting snapped up by Russell T Davies for the new series of Dr Who. I bet if the actor was not trans, their career would not have taken off as it has.

Sandi is not stupid. She’s clearly playing the game because there’s no way she believes such lies. What she is saying is there is no such thing as homosexuality. Because if all it takes is for a bloke to pop on some lippy and say he’s a woman and we’ve all to believe it then there is no such thing as being a les. She knows that but is gagged. This ‘I can’t fathom it’ nonsense is just despicable from her. It makes her look stupid and weak, two things I’d have never have called her before. She’s scared of the TRAs imo, and is choosing to lie in order to be left alone because no matter how much abuse the papers are saying she’s getting from GC women, we all know that it would be a million times worse if she’d gone the other way and dared to piss if the almighty TRAs. She’s seen what happened to JKR. Lost every shred of respect I had for her.

Mental health issues are scary and isolating and what choice does a child have but to put their trust in 'the system'? Why is this 'system' (whatever that means) telling children that THIS is the cure?!
