Freak of nature is a common turn of phrase that's been around as long as I can remember, I don't take it to mean someone actually specifically calling someone else a freak. Are we policing language now?
Scrutinising body parts kind of lies at the root of the issue. As does being able to father a child, as that doesn’t align with CS’s claims to be a woman. Freak isn’t the nicest word to say but I can let it slide since it’s an emotive issue.
Can’t help but notice that you have said elsewhere on Tattle that you dislike this thread/the things people say here. So why are you here trying to contradict all that’s been said about Caster Semenya?

I am the legal, but not the biological, parent of my children. That is not possible because they have a biological mother and I am also female. Imagine if I insisted all of you not notice that that was the case and insisted that I was in fact just the same as a biological parent and there was no difference whatsoever between me and the person who birthed the children. Imagine if I also told you I wasn’t triggered by going to the IVF clinic or helping choose a sperm donor, but I WAS triggered very heavily if you dared notice two women can’t make a baby and mentioned it. That was the part that really bothered me, and this was all very genuine and real. I’d probably be told by most people to STFU.

I don't think that denying science and basic biology should be considered a "difference of opinion". It's scientific fact that taking hormones and cutting off your breasts or genitals, doesn't change your sex. Trying to gaslight women into believing that "transwomen are women", doesn't change facts...women are adult human females only, and it's not "being kind" to insist otherwise. The bearded author who thinks she is a man who has given birth, is still a woman because only female humans give birth, her beard and boys clothing can't change that.

If it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck...I'm completely bloody sick of watching CS, or the 6ft tall TiM in Big Brother, or Eddie bloody Izzard, and being told that these people are women. You literally came on here to tell us we were incorrect about Caster being a biological man when he literally is, why can’t TRAs accept bleeping basic science and biology
I agree with you that CS case is different, whilst we can say "men are men, women are women" when there are cases like DSD it isn't black and white. For someone who grows up with no pen, internal testes, and, I believe, at least some approximation of a tina, you can understand how it would be possible to want to be identified as a woman, even if puberty has brought out more masculine characteristics. Whilst we have said people do not have a right to define their own gender based on how they feel, I think in the case of those with DSD, it would be good to have more compassion for them. This group seems to have labelled CS as a manipulator, but working for a career in elite sports and then being told you can't take part any more would be a difficult thing. I know it wouldn't be fair for women to compete against them, but that doesn't mean we need to be hateful

He has presented himself as a ‘different type of woman’ despite it being known to him and his family that he was in fact DSD. Moreover, success as a professional female athlete is not easy, and it can be life changing. Medals, sponsorship, career opportunities after athletics - HUGE. The likes of Lyndsey Sharp were denied a rightful medal because 3 men with XY chromosomes and a DSD only males get competed as women and won. CS has been arrogant and defensive and rude to the women who dare challenge men in women’s sport, implying they need to train harder. As if any amount of training levels the playing field between men and women!
Yes some DSD cases aren’t clear but CS is biologically male
I think CS has both been manipulated and in true male form is now a manipulator
